Not true.
UBA Nominees is still the single largest shareholder with 9.25% shareholding while Femi Otedola is the 2nd (with 5.52%) as at today......
Unless he increases his shareholding.....
See the attached....

With all the deliberations here not clear what the actual status is. As Owen the President of Transcorp said, which I agree with her. It's a good thing seeing investors showing interest in Transcorp.

If FPI never begin come, an LPI has come as him dey see the goldmine here. grin

Who owns what shouldn't be much of a concern.
Our goal as investors is to align accordingly and tap from what would be in it for us.
...this should take higher precedence.

The rise in the price of TRANSCORP could potentially set it off to N2.
I foresee the likelihood of a "bidding war" with a positive would-be impact on the investing public. (shareholders)

Remember what happened with FBNH btw Sir FO, the folks @ LEADWAY INS and Sir Oba Otude**
The bidding war actually helped propel the price... because everyone wanted to ... wink cheesy cool
They may not even be done with FBNH yet.

Expect something similar (perhaps even more) with TRANSCORP.
A lot is going on at the background in the power and oil & gas sectors.

Again, NOT to be inferred as an investment advice.

Mr TRANSCORP already opening with a bid size that's almost 2x that from yesterday's close.
Indeed there was a reason for the huge but often "opaque" vol in TRANSCORP in recent weeks.
There's also a reason the vol movement has now followed a less "aggressive trading pattern" even with maximum price rise.
...Implying less availability.

Carefully observe the coys trade book.

Something is going on! wink cheesy grin

Again, NOT to be inferred as any sought of investment advice.

Transcorp will go places before a very fast reversal. E go be fastest fingers first. But befor then it has to go beyond 2naira

UBA Q1, 2023 fine print. wink cheesy cool

That coy needs to reprise to cover up for the wide margin of deviance from intrinsic valuation.

It is well

I think the rise in the prices of UBA and STERLING will follow an "aggressive pattern" when it begins. wink cheesy cool

Those 2 are among the cheapest banking coys at the moment.

TA interpreting a thing or two.

CAVEAT: The need for due diligence should still take higher precedence ahead of this post.
Pls do well to follow your instinct.

Transcorp is going to N10 because it's predominantly a power generation company like Geregu and Ote$ needs Transcorp's valuation to align with Geregu's. Hence his interest. Transcorp is actually still obscenely undervalued in any case especially when you consider that it is probably the largest power generation company in Nigeria.

I don't think it will move to N10 in a straight line....
But it will get there if it the will of Investors

AIRTELAFRI has experienced a 19% decline this month and its current RSI suggests it is oversold.

Quick valuation of its March 2022 audited results assumes fair value at 1350.

Homemade OBV indicator suggests that it is being accumulated, despite breaking the 1260 support level.

May be ok to enter AIRTELAFRI at 1000 or lower if it gets there...

Both UBA and STERLNBANK are undervalued (my opinion), however, similar to many other stocks, they require a catalyst to initiate movement.

I used a quick and crude method to value TRANSCORP at 4.1, and it seems to have encountered its own catalyst...

If GEREGU with 435MW capacity is valued at 246/share by AFDB. What can we say about Transcorp - the largest conglomerate by portfolio diversifcation with a power plant of 726MW capacity?

11:30 still only 8million worth of shares as against pending over 200m bids

Just kneel down and thank Otedola for the recsue.
This same value you are seeing in Transcorp now,we have seen it in years past yet no wealth creation for shareholders.

I am having a feeling they will separate the power company from the group very soon.who knows their plan......

If I had GEREGU, I would have taken some profit to align with TRANSCORP.

Lol. Can't forget that last time.
I just don't want to make any comment about this Transcorp than to say let's hope this time it'll be a different ball game, since a new investor is involved. smiley

I'd also thought about the separation of power.

Attached is the situation as at now......
Full bid with over 200M bids at day's high, N1.69k
There are other bids below 1.69 too.

In another news, an entity or some entities seems to be buying lots of volume in FIDELITY and UBA.
The rate of crossings in FIDELITY especially is unusual....
