Constitutionallly Nigeria has no president elect, but since english language is not our first language and translating the constitutional requirement for the FCT abuja has become a challenge, Let those in charge set up a committee that will consult the UK judiciary to explain what the word "AND" means.

Abuja is a convergence point/melting pot of every Nigerian and can be described as a "mini-Nigeria".

Me thinks, for anyone to be seen as a valid president he truly needs to be accepted by at least 25% of the residents of this mini-Nigeria who cut across every tribe, creed, and whatever.

If this was the intent of that particular clause in the Constitution or electoral act, it is safe to say that whoever thought that piece out is a genius.

Assuming it's in the law that 25percent in FCT is compulsory to be declared a winner which is not, are you not suppose to fight it, obedients don't ever look into the future, the same way igbo blocked every avenue for self determination by individual tribe in Nigeria and it has now turn around to hunt you because you are now the one in desperate need of self determination asking for Biafra, igbo also facilitates the scraping of regional government which is now a disadvantage to them, all for selfish reasons, this same law if it stand I'm sure an igbo presidential candidate in future may be hindered by it because I see a clear situation of when power finally rotates back to the south igbos will be given a chance, does it mean if the opponent of the igbo presidential candidate win only three states and FCT, the opponent should be declared winner because he won FCT? because the court will refer to Tinubus case if Tinubu is not sworn in because of the 25percent rule. Even though I didn't vote for BAT, I don't think the issue of FCT should be LP Strong point, if they have other ground of evidence am okay with that but not FCT ooo. But this shows those who wrote the constitution did not see this part of the constitution ever happening at all and I think this is the first time a president elect will not have 25% in FCT, mind you I didn't say win FCT I said get 25% ooo.

True, a valid question because it's in the constitution, I guess those drafting it didn't think hard enough for this kind of scenario. So let him battle with the courts on that.

However logically speaking he has a point, Abuja votes shouldn't be special, imagine if the people's choice and not INEC selection won without Abuja? Would we now say Atiku or obi shouldn't be sworn in because of tiny Abuja?

Again the truth is the president is not safe in a Capitol where he's not welcomed, his death can be easily planned hence that clause in the constitution. It's a give and take thing.
