Good God!!! What is that?? How much lower can stupidity go? Saka is still Arsenal's player of the season whether they like it or not.

That a few band of Arsenal fans out there wanna define Saka's season by one penalty miss won't dampen or cancel the immense and world class consistent performances he had shown in Arsenal's colors this season.

Na wa.

Say what you know.

At his club, Ndidi completes an average of 31.7 passes per game with an accuracy of 86%.
How can you deem his short passes poor.

In the home game against G. Bissau Ndidi attempted 3 long balls completing 2. I was impressed. Improvements is what i desire for him, and that is what will happen, and is happening.

Statistics don't capture the complete quality of a pass and or the actions that preceded the pass. It doesn't record it as a deceptive defence splitting through ball that renders three defenders useless.

All you have is pass accuracy, it's academic when taken in isolation. It tells you nothing of substance.

You know you can have more possession in a game and even pass accuracy and loose comprehensively.

You guys who keep talking stats and numbers without watching the players and or game. Need some serious re-education about football, instead of making noise about statistics.

I remember when Manchester City got beat by Brentford, they got schooled by Brentford. Brentford had a mere 56% pass accuracy compared to 86% for Manchester City. Indeed City had 75% possession.

What has all the so called accurate passes done for Liecester City , currently bottom of the EPL and looking at relegation in the face. Getting out of the Championship is not easy. Apart from Tielemans, Maddison and Dewsbury the rest will find it near impossible finding a club in the EPL.

Whst did Ndidi passing do for the SE against Guinea, we lost and scraped through with a penalty.

Don't say what you know NOTHING ABOUT.

Not downplaying the influence of decent pitches or anything but us hiding under the pitch excuse isn't doing justice to the main issues affecting the Super Eagles plays.

I saw Egypt spank Malawi 4-0 in the AfconQs on a pitch in Lilongwe that is no better than the pitch in Egypt where Egypt played and won 2-0. Egypt did so playing some beautiful football.

So again, kudos to the Remo and Lobi lads.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If we leave the pitch excuse we would end up at why did we miss all those chances. U can't create 20 chances for some of the best forwards in the world and still shade the coach.

I don't watch women's football ⚽ it's a affront to quality and excellence by comparison to men's football.

Remember when the Australian national women's football team got rinsed and flogged by a U15 academy team.

I watch women athletics because there is excellence, yes the men are better but the gap is a gender natural one and the gap is not humongous.

But women football it's like bad caricature cartoon.

U are talking in circles. Do u believe the best ever female sprinter can come close to a prime Usain Bolt? The gap is the same in every physical sport so that excuse is bogus. The female game is a game on its own. If u come with an open mind they will surely entertain you. The fact that the men are physically better makes the moves women make even more impressive.

You claim to watch Ndidi but has ignorance sufficient to say he is poor with short passes, you claim to watch Ndidi and you dare use the words defense splitting passes for a defensive midfielder that has been told severally to keep it simple.

Good sports analysts will never say Ndidi's passing accuracy is poor, but instead you will hear descriptions like limited.

Now listen to this, Ndidi has his coaches to answer to whenever the label limited is used to describe his passing. Ndidi is a lamb that has been told to keep it simple, and simple he keeps his game.

Even if you were right, is this not the same issues we are facing in other sectors in Nigeria? Proffer a solution, because we cannot change their mindset.
komekn:

The issue is can the NFF create honest straightforward and transparent communication channels that will institute relationships.

I know English boys who are U15 players in EPL Academies who are not born in Poland but your Polish FA is engaging them and creating relationships.

You should know by know that I don't always talk according to media reports but first hand personal contact.

Unfortunately, most NFF officialsh have a preoccupation with the agenda of , " how to makeo money 🤑 by any means possible. By hook or crook.

Is there a genuine interest in getting the best players for the SE ❓❓You know our people.

It doesn't change the fact that it is weak and evasive to keep bringing up pitch excuses when our Super Eagles issues are way beyond that.

There is no different beauty here when clearly the Super Eagles isn't so super right now unless you aren't seeing that as well.

The Pitch plays only a minor part in what truly limits this Super Eagles side.

And we clearly didn't create 20 chances in either legs. How many exactly did Osimhen get in Abuja?

And the point is how many did the midfield create in Abuja?
Our chances came via mostly scatter-gun approaches from the channels. No real consistent penetrative buildups. We were down and got mega reactive to try salvage a result against a side that we beat with a second string side at the last Afcon.

Peseiro is being called out on his persistent imbalanced midfield selections and his preference for a 2-man midfield (as imbalanced as they always are) which clearly affects so much of how we play or how dynamic we can get in transitions.

He gets the shades and knocks for constantly ignoring our midfield issues and for his refusal to truly see how better he can utilise the final 3rd weapons he has at his disposal.

For instance, there is an obvious tactical way to use Chukwueze and bring out his final third qualities but the dude either doesn't know or he keeps playing blind.

How can the excuse be weak when we all saw the matches. The pitch was definitely an issue in both games.

Did we get Victor Osimhen big chances in front of goal or not? Even big Wilf was found in front of goal. Those chances did not fall out of the sky.

I was obviously talking about 20 chances in both matches.

TheSuperNerd:

Top 5 Chances Creators for Nigeria today:

Samuel Chukwueze - 4 chances created.

Zaidu Sanusi - 3 chances created, 1 big chance created.

Alex Iwobi - 3 chances created.

Moses Simon - 3 chances created.

Bright Osayi-Samuel - 1 chance created, 1 Penalty won.

We had no right not winning both fixtures with atleast a 3 goal lead. So many wasted chances.

No l am not rather you are choosing to see things from your own perspective.

No guy off the Street can even get near a professional female sprinter. No male teenage high school sprinter and or amateurs sprinter is going to burn aa olympic female sprinter,No way, no how .

The gap between a 100 meters top world class female sprinter and a world class olympic male sprinter will be at most 2 seconds. That reflects the gender difference.

It's taken mens football ⚽ over a hundred years to attain the level of competitive quality and excellence. Womans football is still in an infancy stage. And has a very long way to go.

England women's football ⚽ will get flogged, mashed up , spewed out and decimated by Chelsea U16. Thats the gap between women's mediocre football ⚽ and men's professional football.

It's being promoted, hoisted and enforced upon us in a feminist and to a good degree LGBT agenda.

I watch a lot of football and coach across England and mainland Europe, I don't just go through football statistics on a myriad of sites .

I will not respond with a derogatory term.

Below are several what you may call defensive midfielder, they are characterized by a particular attribute, when they dont have the ball the defend resolutely and when they have the ball they attack creating multiple attacking options for the team.

1. Ngole Kante
2. Moses Caicedo
3. Joao Palinha
4. Yves Bissouma
5. Thomas Partey
6. Thiago
7. Rodri
8. Rice
9. Douglas Luiz
10. Casemiro

Please can you tell the above mentioned DM's to keep it simple and listen to their coaches ( according to you) not to transition from defence to attack just keep tackling and intercepting.

Don't do deceptive unpredictable defence splitting passes , and please NEVER EVER in your wildest dreams attempt to score a goal 🥅 that will be disastrous for your career 🤔

Ndidi is keeping it simple all the way to the Championship he should continue, and he will find himself in League one.

Oniovo, please let's keep politics out of here. Just to set the records straight, the president-elect was not convicted of drug charges, yes he forfeited money to the US govt and a strong chance he was involved in the trade but fact remains he was not convicted, 2) his university degree was not forged, that has been proven beyond every reasonable doubt. What is sketchy about his education is everything else besides his college degree. With all I said, there are loads of question marks for sure but I try to set the records straight. Peace!!!!
