tarmmey: Sorry about the refusal. I suspect the issue to be proving the source of your sponsors' income, if you submitted his income sources, did it tally with the balance in his account? Also, does your uncle work in Nigeria? Ultimately request for your notes and see the actual reasons. 1 Like |

Republic001: When people say all these “I had over 100Million in account and was still refused” I just laugh. It’s really not about the amount. The 42M in your dad’s account is very much okay. And especially since it’s your dad, it’s certainly not refusal based on “insufficient evidence to proof relationship between applicant and sponsor”- What is the likely reason for refusal? SOURCE OF FUNDS. I’m sure you didn’t attach enough information on what your dad does (employment) and how he gets his money (including payslips and/or business documents). - Also, how old are you? You provided any employment information for yourself? Any personal assets? - you can also think of doing GIC or paying a full year’s Tuition. All-in-all, It is not advisable to reapply without getting your GCMS notes. 6 Likes 1 Share |

tarmmey: I suspect your SOP isn't detailed enough. Secondly, your dad might have alot of unexplained lump sum. Thirdly, did you carefully provide evidence of your dad's source of income? Tax clearance, pay slips etc... One thing I've come to realize about Canada study visa is that they don't really care if you have 100m in the account, they're more concerned about the source of the funds and if it's not just for demonstration purposes. Get your gcms notes anyways. 2 Likes |

Hello I need someone to help me please. I applied for study permit and open work permit with my spouse and was refused based on insufficient funds and assets to Canada. My Aunt was our sponsor even though I included my bank statement and that of my spouse. Now we would like to apply again with my step mum as main sponsor and my aunt as co sponsor. What advice can you give me on how best to go about this. |

harkintem: Bro, by using deed of gift means that's all he will be supporting me. Because for deed of gift, it's case of "I dash you". And might not render another help when needed. Or should all the money (tuition balance and living expenses) plus 2.7M my personal savings be inside my account. Total amount to be in my account would be around 11-12M By doing this, can I stand as self sponsored and will explain the source of money. 1 Like |

Please can someone help clarify my doubts. I used a conditional admission offer letter to apply for my study permit. Is that going to affect the processing, that is delay the processing of my application? |

This is very hash and uncalled for ☹️. We all are fortunate to be in this NL family, this person really needs help that's why he/she keeps repeating same question. Now what did you gain by inflicting more pain to this already wounded individual? Some people shaar(hiss) Welsh2np: 9 Likes |
