My uncles passport was attached to the application with my mother’s birth certificate and all those was clearly stated in the sponsorship letter because when i ordered the gcms note at first it says proof of relationship so i tackled that with enough details. Maybe i pay the full 2 years school fees? I am about to finish my first semester online as well

Sorry about the refusal.

I suspect the issue to be proving the source of your sponsors' income, if you submitted his income sources, did it tally with the balance in his account? Also, does your uncle work in Nigeria?

Ultimately request for your notes and see the actual reasons.

Sad but very high possibility : is very likely that you are on a 5-year ban.

Thank you soooo much, I truly appreciate, I have a clearer picture now smiley

Depends on you. With your grades you should be eligible for most universities but colleges do tend to be cheaper with more lenient requirements. Regardless going for a college as opposed to a university doesn't harm your chances of getting a study permit.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Nonyilla: 1:44pm On Apr 18, 2023
Thank you for taking out time to respond, now I have something to work with...
God bless you cheesy
Welsh2np:

First of all let me correct an impression. Colleges are not for only people with 2’2 and below. Most people choose colleges because it avails lots of hands-on experience and high technical proficiency, which may be limited at the Universities.
However, colleges are easier to get admissions.

Then for Universities, there’s the taught-based and thesis-route Master’s; so it depends on what you seek.
When you opt for most of the thesis-route programs, you may get funding. Some taught Master’s also offer funding.

Now what is the challenge with universities as opposed to colleges?

The admissions at the University are HIGHLY Competitive.

So if your leg strong, put body.

As for me I’ll advise you look forward to fall 2024.
- work on yourself; get extra research/educational skills
- revamp your CV.
- Work on your SOP
- Research on different programs of interest and entry requirements; reach out to the grad Coordinators.
- Get strong letters of recommendation.
- Have a budget (very important).

All the best,
W

Dear Nairaland...am trying to reapply for my Refusal...have used my Dad as sponsor in my last Application and despite the amount of over 42 million in d a account and over 4 million in my both accounts afetr paying 2500 deposit..I was refused .now am trying to reapply and use self sponsor..Can my dad transfer both my full tuition fee and living expenses into my account and use gift deed to back it ..would that work pls

When people say all these “I had over 100Million in account and was still refused” I just laugh.

It’s really not about the amount. The 42M in your dad’s account is very much okay. And especially since it’s your dad, it’s certainly not refusal based on “insufficient evidence to proof relationship between applicant and sponsor”-

What is the likely reason for refusal?
SOURCE OF FUNDS.
I’m sure you didn’t attach enough information on what your dad does (employment) and how he gets his money (including payslips and/or business documents).
- Also, how old are you?
You provided any employment information for yourself? Any personal assets?
- you can also think of doing GIC or paying a full year’s Tuition.

All-in-all, It is not advisable to reapply without getting your GCMS notes.

Hello guys please i need help
My second application has just been refused based on financial situation.
My first application was refused for the same reason. And the gcms said there was no proof of relationship between me and my uncle.
In this second application I attached my mothers birth certificate and a family picture then a picture of my mom and my uncle when he was still in Nigeria. I paid one year school fees since my first application. In the second application i made my uncle transfer 10k cad to my account and also made my dad transfer 4million naira to my account and backed it up with deed of gift. My uncle also has 30k cad in his account

Is there any new thing i can do to make my next application strong enough?

Note my course is a two year course.
Or is it possible for it to fly if i pay my two years tuition?

I suspect your SOP isn't detailed enough.

Secondly, your dad might have alot of unexplained lump sum.

Thirdly, did you carefully provide evidence of your dad's source of income? Tax clearance, pay slips etc...

One thing I've come to realize about Canada study visa is that they don't really care if you have 100m in the account, they're more concerned about the source of the funds and if it's not just for demonstration purposes. Get your gcms notes anyways.

Hello
I need someone to help me please.
I applied for study permit and open work permit with my spouse and was refused based on insufficient funds and assets to Canada. My Aunt was our sponsor even though I included my bank statement and that of my spouse.
Now we would like to apply again with my step mum as main sponsor and my aunt as co sponsor.
What advice can you give me on how best to go about this.

Use deed of gift. However you still need to show sponsor bank statement to substantiate your claim

Bro, by using deed of gift means that's all he will be supporting me. Because for deed of gift, it's case of "I dash you". And might not render another help when needed.

Or should all the money (tuition balance and living expenses) plus 2.7M my personal savings be inside my account. Total amount to be in my account would be around 11-12M

By doing this, can I stand as self sponsored and will explain the source of money.

Yellow card is for Travel to most African and South American countries. Tropical countries at risk of yellow fever. It has nothing to do with the rest of the world.

Please can someone help clarify my doubts.

I used a conditional admission offer letter to apply for my study permit. Is that going to affect the processing, that is delay the processing of my application?

We all are fortunate to be in this NL family, this person really needs help that's why he/she keeps repeating same question.
Now what did you gain by inflicting more pain to this already wounded individual?
