The most significant and consequential legal case for the freedom of speech and freedom of the press is underway in Wilmington, Delaware.

This is the biggest case in America, in recent memory where Dominion Voting Systems is suing Fox News for defamation and looking to bilk the giant news network of $1.6 Billion.

We will get to hear from Rupert Murdoch CEO of Fox, Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Maria Bartiromo, Lou Dobbs, Jeanine Pirro and others as they take the stand and testify under oath.

The Judge has already ruled the statements were false, all that is left is for the jury to decide if the statements were made with actual malice. Given the evidence not sure that is a big hurdle. The Judge also sanctioned Fox's attorneys for lying and hiding evidence.

The issue is not just the 1.6 billion they are suing for. It's the penalty damages which are uncapped I believe.
Also, can Fox settle and admit they lied if there are two other companies suing them as well? I don't see Dominion agreeing to a settlement without that admission unless Fox shoves tons of money at them.

This is going to cripple fox and I predict the exit of some high profile names from the network. And another death knell will be the removal of fox from military bases and facilities also been dropped from cable TV is a likelihood.
