Hello guys, I applied for a remark and my score was upgraded, however, I was told to dispatch my TRF before I can get the new one.

I want to ask if I will have to pay to dispatch my old TRF, or it’s free.

Anyone with an answer to this question pleaseeee. Thank you

Hi Everyone,

I just recently wrote my IELTS. I got overall 7.0

Speaking = 7.5
Listening = 7.5
Writing = 6.5
Reading = 6

Please is this score adequate to create an express entry profile, because I tried checking my eligibility with the above scores but it came back as ineligible. what do you guys think ?

If you take it there by yourself, it is free assuming you trekked. If not, you pay whoever you engage to deliver it on your behalf.

Your aim should be L/R/W/S -8.5/8.0/7.5/7.5 to stand a chance. I am not sure anymore.

Hello seniors…Abeg clear my doubts o. At what point is letter of reference needed? At the point of creating a profile, or upon ITA? Cause I dey reason how to approach my employer for a reference letter addressed to IRCC…that would already put them on notice that I want to japa, abi?

Please how did the ‘people before’ achieve this?

Please can I address my letters of reference for my work experience as "To whom it may concern?

Or do I need to address it to IRCC? I just want to have a template so I dont keep contacting former employers all the time when I need a reference.

Thanks

Either works. Page 1 FAQ 49 please wink

Hello House,

Please I’m considering using my NYSC as my one year experience. But my confusion is what to put as my job tittle on the reference letter
Should I ask my employer to put NYSC Corper? As this was what they wrote on my offer letter

Although I’m using the NOC for Human Resource Administrator and this aligns best with my job description.

I also want to use job owner for the other two years of experience as I own a registered make up business. I used to me a make up artist in Nigeria before moving to the UK. It’s been registered since 2918 but I don’t have any tax documents.
I’m also not so sure about how to go about the reference letter for this. And it was a side hustle cause I was first studying and later working 9-5 while also running the business.
I have chats with clients and some payment I can prove but I don’t have a business account.
Is it safe to use this ?

Please any advice on this 🙏🏽

Page 1 Post 3 see the section:

*Work experience while studying & paid internships may count for FSW, read HERE for more details.

*Self Employed applicants are also eligible for FSW, read HERE for more details.

IRCC didn't explicitly ask for tax docs, although some self-employed provide as part of their app.

Why not indicate a job title that aligns with the duties and is easily understood by all. NYSC isn't a job title IMO. The duties matching your NOC is the most important thing.

gtbank just told me now that they don't give out bank statement. Who else has used gtbank for POF before?
As at March 2022, you could print your GTB account statement from your internet banking account (actual internet, not the banking app). That's what I did and I got PPR like 2 weeks later. The statement was sent to me in pdf format with the bank stamp and date on each page. Whole process took maybe 15 minutes. Customer service would also print both letter of Non-Indebtedness and bank reference letter for 1k each.

Kindly share with us what you submitted.
Thanks

Each person's nature of business differs but the general rule of thumb is to submit business registration documents and reference letters from customers and/or suppliers.

I added screenshots of my social media pages and website

I submitted 14 reference letters from my clients.

5 years of bank statements

But I usually recommend to add anything that proves the business exists and was operational for the period the applicant is claiming

Thanks for your detailed response
One more thing, I want to know if the bank statement you submitted is from your business account. I'm asking because I don't have a business account yet.
Although I use my personal account and also get paid in cash as well.

I usually transfer a certain range of money monthly to my mutual funds account, can that be used for statement of account? Or it has to be personal/business account used to receive payment from clients. Thanks

It has to be a business account especially as the business is registered. Unless you are strictly in a profession that allows funds to be paid into your personal account

For post ITA guys, carefully review your application before you submit.

Another judicial case....... this one highlights the need to be 100% sure the NOC you've chosen as your primary is the right one especially if you have edited it often pre ITA and are using several NOCs to make up your 3 years WE. Be sure you have 1 year CONTINUOUS experience as a minimum, in your primary NOC.

Her AOR was Feb 2020 and she was rejected 2 years later! https://decisions.fct-cf.gc.ca/fc-cf/decisions/en/item/523317/index.do?q=noc+ghana

[38]I agree with the Respondent that s75(2)(a) requires officers to consider the work experience obtained in the primary occupation NOC identified by the Applicant under the Federal Skilled Worker class, not to determine which NOC or work experience should have been identified as the primary NOC. The onus was on the Applicant to satisfy the Officer that she met the minimum requirement. The Officer was under no obligation to guess at her intended NOC or make further inquiries in that regard
