Foolish report by Saharareporters. Is Ekiti's overall annual revenues even up to N91bn for them to spend all that on just one activity? |

Skankamola:Read the letter. Whether Sahara lied or not, this particular letter from the health ministry is devoid of any fact. The letter only mentioned bringing health care closer to the rural communities by setting up PHCs in the 177 wards of the state...the letter failed to mention at what cost, and if the PHCs in the 177 wards were all built within this budget cycle. Besides making reference to 177 PHCs and wards in this letter, every other thing in that letter are just mere and general statements not worthy of a rebuttal. What does patients getting care at no cost to them at a particular time got to do with refuting a claim that they spent 91 billion on PHCs, or mentioning how government has been doing well in the health sector? The letter did not even state "if such money was not spent on PHCs" rather gave a line explanation of the gains made by the health ministry in building the PHCs and the procurement of other health equipment. When fake news channels make outlandish claims, government should do well to provide facts so the public can shame the fake news merchants |

EKONGKING: Did you know that lying under oath is a serious offence in some other climes? Did you know that embezzling public funds and corruption can earn you a death sentence in some countries? Did you know that"rigging" elections can you a prison sentence in some countries? You are only concern with "fake" news because you feel it's propaganda against you (or your principal). |

Skankamola:May not be typo at all. Don't be surprised that SR didn't even do a simple Google check of Ekiti's annual budget before coming up with this outrageous figure. SR,run by Sowore is the most useless, fake, vile, news peddling outfit in Nigeria,by miles, now being followed by PGazette. When there are no consequences for fake news, media like SR still thrive because there are enough f oolish people in Nigeria to believe any garbage they publish. |

Hafeexla:Nobody has claimed to know more than you bro. We're only reacting to a news item. If it is true that our leaders have stolen from us (which they have shown us countless times that they're not afraid to do), then we should collectively call them out and demand justice. If Ekiti better tomorrow, we can collectively say "one down, thirty five to go". Small small, one by one, we can clean up the country. The sooner we the followers realise that our leaders, regardless of tribe or religion, are selfish people and that we need to unite against them, the closer we'll be to the Nigeria of our dreams. See Gov. Okowa's severance package for example. Na all of us suppose unite and make noise about am. Cheers bro. |
