Where can I get this in Lagos or ogun state
if you are on the mainland, go to Mushin (oshodi side) and ask of Addmore pharmacy. I use to get mine there then.

Be calming down Sis, a lot of peeps have gotten results with clomid and letrozole. It didnt work for you doesnt mean its bad. So many factors have to be considered before using clomid. Your Age, tubes, uterus and sperm conditions. If any of these have comma clomid is not likely to work for u. There is a DIY local IUI we embarked on as a group last year and the results have been good especially with younger women so dont rule out clomid. Just ensure you take under Dr supervision or strict monitoring.
Please can I PC you about this?

I dont kno cost of ivf in these places but ivf at 32 is a very good age cos ur amh at this age shd be very ok except there are other issues. To achieve a successful ivf is not by age alone, u need to ensure ur uterus is free from obstacles like fibroids, polyp, adenomyosis, bulky and too tinny lining. Ensure ur tubes are either open or completely blocked from the proximal or uterus side cos if its open n blocked at the fimbrai or ovary end, fluid from the tubes can affect implantation so Drs now do a procedure called salpingectomy to block d tubes completely to increase ur chances. Ensure ur hormones are balance espcially prolactin, as this can affect d quality of eggs if very high. Finally ensure ur husband's sp.erm is ok, this includes count and motility. These and many more are the reasons Drs conduct comprehensive tests before embarking on most IVF procedure except u are a returning patient. All the best

Thanks. It’s the track record I’m concerned about, not even the price.

Do Olive Branch Lekki if u can afford Dr Emeka. They are one of the best in Lagos. I had my twins with them

Not less than 2m cos it depends on ur treatment plan and age. I posted because you said you are not concerned about the money but quality amd success rate. Send him a chat 08032011536 and he will get someone to send u their price chat, if u mention from NL you might get some discounts. If u are willing to travel to Abuja and use Primecare's Dr Ese, you will spend far less than that amount less thn 1m and he's one of our best for now. For Lag Emeka still remains one of the best.

Good evening Mamas, thanks for always coming to my aid. Here I come again. Please bear with me, this is going to be very long.

Hubby and I have been trying for seven years so we decided to go for IVF. I have a history of PCOS but only one doctor ever diagnosed me of that and I did several hormonal tests before his own. Now, the catch is he tested me on day 10 and day 21 of my cycle instead of day 2/3 and 21. When I asked, the lab person said that's the doctor's system. The result found an imbalance in my FSH/Progesterone levels. In the previous hormonal profile I did, progesterone was also low and the doctors recommended Duphaston and placed me on Metformin but he didn't tell me I had PCOS. The latter test also found high prolactin. The doctor placed me on Hyponidd and Dostinex.

When that didn't work, we decided to try the IVF route. I told the doctor of my history which also includes one blocked tube. (I've confirmed that it's from the Uterus side and there's no hydro. The test just stated that the right tube was not seen and left tube patency) He recommended a string of tests including viral markers for hubby and me, SFA, Uterine Cavity test, and AMH, but said I didn't need to repeat the Hsg or hormonal test. He said he would use my AMH result to ascertain my PCOS. It indeed came out very high around 2.86ml, I think the highest level on the list. But I'm only 28, I don't know if age can also contribute to that.

Lastly, they found a blockage in the uterus and recommended a hysteroscopy. They found uterine polyps and removed them (I've been having prolapse and irregular menstrual cycle since 2019 which I now know is the polyps.) My period after the procedure and there was no stopping and resuming like before.

They booked me to cycle this month, but I couldn't because of my husband's fast. My concerns are 1.) My hormones, I don't know what is right or wrong. Should I wait to do it again before I cycle? I did one recently but the doctor said he doesn't trust the result. 2. Could the polyps have been the only thing stopping pregnancy? 3. If PCOS is confirmed does IVF still give a good chance?

Please Mamas come to my aid. I don't want to do this in vain. The money can be put to great use else where if it's going to be a waste of time. But if I have a fighting chance with IVF, I'd really love to try. Seven years without a child is not beans at all. Sorry for the long post and thanks for your time.

hmmmm your story is similar to mine! I had a chocolate cyst removed, tubal blockages and uterine polyps also removed via hysterescopy. Pcos can have effect on your egg quality as IVF is a matter of quality and not quantity, most pcos women have lots of eggs with low quality. My period was also going on and off prior to the polyps removal but its now okay. Infact one doctor told me I can’t use my eggs for ivf at 28yrs! But thank God for i went for a second opinion, i was placed ondiet and some supplements like coq10, omega 3 and macca.
I had a successful cycle and my babies just clocked one.

Hi mummies, it’s been a long while, so I thought to give my people an update on my journey so far. I remember saying here last year that I will start TTcing again through IVF.
Yes I stated earlier this year, I am presently in my day 12 of my TTW. Got a BFP this morning via urine test. Going in for blood test on Saturday.
Hoping for the best in this new journey.

Thanks for the reply ma'am. Please, do you think I should try dieting and using supplements for a few months before cycling? IVF seems so absolute and I'm afraid that if I try it and it doesn't work I'd lose faith.

Thanks Sis. We are excellent. Thanks be to God. The only thing that I noticed that was different was the precision with which Dr Ese made the transfer. They were dropped at specific points along my uterus abi cervix (wherever it s they put the eggs. lol) They were not randomly dropped. This was the first time I saw such. With my daughter, 3 were also transferred but only 1 took. So I don't know if this was what made the difference. But on my part, I took oats every day. I hear it helps. And light exercises.

please ma which hospital did you get the ivf for your triplets please?

yes please. Boost your egg quality for about 3-4 months before cycling as it takes 120 days for eggs to mature, get the e book “it starts with the egg” so you can see other lifestyle changes you need to change, dot all your i’s and cross all t’s, whatever the outcome know you gave it your best, remove every doubt and pray all the time.

me that Lily said my enemy has cervical adhesion, and the little fibroid i had, has distorted my cervical plate or so through using an ultrasound. Hsg said my tubes were patent nothing HSG SAW. Imagine?
I had to go to two different ultrasound center and they said the fibroid was measuring 0.7cm the other said 0.6 cm, and it is just too small to be reported and that it outside my womb or so. They also said ultrasound cant detect adhesion. I remember going back there and the doc advising me that if they don't do the hysteroscopy, my cervix is closed and they wont see where to retrieve and transfer my egg. I was already intending ooo, my husband kept on saying he won't allow me to do the process. I wanted to dodge and do it, untill my husband sperm result came out from Lily and they said their husband sperm count is 2million, this is a man that has 53 million sperm count always. They said Morphology is 0. My husband was so pissed, that was how i jejely ran. Now i am few months gone after my transfer from another hospital. Infact i remember taking all my test results to this other hospital, Doc even suggested IUI insted of IVF, but i insisted that i will go for IVF, i told about what they said in LIly hospital, he just laughed and said ultrasound cant pick adhesion and if my hsg that i did recently is saying no adhesion and patent tubes, then they don't know what they are saying. He check my cervix and said my cervix is good. Just taking out time to write this long epistle to encourage you , and give you hope. Most of this hospitals just want someone to spend money
please ma is it lily in warri that is doing this?
And please which other hospital did you go to get your transfer done?thanks

Thank you mums for all the messages, really appreciate, so I did blood test at the hospital yesterday and the positive was confirmed, but quick ones ma’ams, I am concerned because I don’t feel any symptoms other than my sore boobs. And I still have two weeks to go for scan. It’s scary waiting a whole two weeks again to confirm that I have babies in there. Has anybody experienced this?
