Please house i need your help and clarification on this. Is it advisable to use 3 bank statement as proof of funds?

Infact, what should be the duration of the Statement of account to use

Yes you can use more than 3 if they belong to you.
Ideal duration is 4 - 6 months.

Hi, quick question about POF.

I am applying for a relative to come study, she will live with me however here are some of the facts.

2 year diploma
Year one fees: 21,000
Year 2 fees: 22,000

I had reserved a total of 40,000 CAD as the sponsor, because I ASSUMED we only needed to show funds for living expenses plus first year tuition.

From this group, I am now rethinking that we may need to show two years tuition plus two years living expenses.

Can anyone help me clarify?

Based off what I have read here:
Self-sponsor - show tuition and living expenses for total duration of study
Using a Sponsor: You can show for first year, but with irrefutable proof of liquid source of income for sponsor, such that the sponsor is able to cater for the dependent without issues.

My tuition is 29,000 for 18 months (as indicated in my LOA)
Estimated Living Expenses Per Annum: $10,000 (as indicated in my LOA)
Estimated Health Care Fees: $950 (as indicated in my LOA)

Please its 18Million Naira inadequate for POF?
because my application was denied last week based on assets and finance.

Though, I've requested for GCMS Note to be ready within 30 days.

Total tuition: 29KCAD
Living Expenses 2 Years: 30KCAD
Health Care (2 Years): 2KCAD
Misc: 4KCAD
Total: 65KCAD = 22.2M

Greetings to everyone. Please I just want this clarification from anyone who just got his/her study permit approved. Are printed bank statements still allowed in the applications or is it only MyBankStatement that has a login code that is only allowed by the IRCC? Thank you.

To save space and for authenticity, you should use MBS. But you can still upload the full bank statements.

Thanks bro. Last year, I used MyBanKStatement and submitted upfront Medicals and IELTS result in my Study Permit application. This caused my application to be treated very fast within a month through Nigerian Study Express (NSE) but it was refused on the ground of insufficient funds despite having a combimed personal funds and scholarhip of 31K. However, It was just this month I realisedt the mistake I made last year becos the NSE requirements is a minimum of 30K CAD in ones bank account. But this year, I have fully paid my full tuition fees of 13,600CAD upfront. I also have about 20K CAD in my account and extra yearly 9K scholarhip funding. This brings my current financial cover to about 51K CAD. Am I now qualified to apply through the NSE considering my peculiar situation or is it only for those with 30K in account but who hasn't paid tuition fees? This why I am considering the regular application with printed bank statements. Please anyone with experience on this should advise me.

You have the best option already. Let your brother apply to that same school again, send the New LOA to IRCC, and he can change DLI when he arrives in Canada.

Thanks for your response. Do we send the new LOA from the same school before leaving Nigeria?

Hello,

So sorry, patients don't refer patient's to a physician. We search for clinic, get the one still accepting patients, then do walk in. Once you do walk in, the doc will now refer you to the actual gyno that will see you through. So i would recommend that you come early before your delivery date. So you can kickstart the process. You cant just walk into a clinic and get gyno to see you unless in an emergency situation. Here we have whats called family physician, he or she is the one that refers you to the physician that is responsible your case, be it pregancy, ear, teeth, etc.

Their medical system is so complex unless our own in naija. So please begin now to write to the hospital. The earlier the better.

As for cheap, i don't know any cheap one for medical tourist. Here, Canadian, PR, workers and students don't pay a dime so long you have your health card. But as a visitor, be rest assured that it can be costly. Eg, first trimester scan can cost as much as 260$

All the best

Hi dear

I apologize I’m just realized that you replied to my post earlier. This info is really helpful as well. I really appreciate your help

I will be traveling in 2 weeks time. Although I’m trying really hard by calling each and every clinic, I’ll try some more. It really is very difficult to get clinics that accept new patients; especially those that are tourists 🙁
Thanks a lot for responding!

You may want to find PGD courses with Business Administration (Supply Chain Management) or just Supply Chain Management courses. Don't know if IRCC put much significance on Diplomas especially for a uni graduate. Maybe other experts can contribute to this.

Depends on the office working on your application, if it's Nairobi - Nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca

You will know the office handling your application from the automated response you receive after sending a webform.

I don't know much about NSE. Did you order your GCMS notes to know the actual reason you were refused?

Sorry for the many questions but these sites do they have like an office or something where i can actually walk into

Skyskanner is not a booking site in itself. See if like a google search of flights. It looks for flights for you from many other sites so it can direct you to any site. It is a legit site. Although I dont like the idea too. KAYAK does same thing.

You can try

Expedia, flighthub, cheapflights, kiwi.

No, I didn't because I didn't even know much about the purpose of GCMS notes until this month. But since the refusal last yr was given as insufficient funds to pay tuition and living expenses, this year I have ensure I paid my full 1yr tuition 13,600 CAD upfront, saved additional 20K CAD in account through salary savings and my personal car sale and also got a total of 18K CAD (9K annually) university funding. Fortunately, the second yr tuition is a very small mount of just 4,300 CAD. So my current total funds of 51K should cover the entire 2yr program. But my current confusion is about whether to use NSE again or regular application through printed bank statements.

Thanks for you quick response. Sorry I have one more question. I understand it’s important to land at the nearest airport to the school. Does he necessarily need to go to the school or just inform IRCC after he gets into Canada that he is changing school?

Hello everyone, hope you all having a great day.
I urgently need answers to these questions. Kindly help me out.

1. Is it possible for me to use my sister as a sponsor for my visa application? (Sister in UK, not Canada)
2. If my sister gifts me some money, do I need to wait for it to mature for 4 to 6 months before using it in my bank statement, or is that not necessary?

Awaiting your response.
Thank you.
