Please I've been trying to upload my documents on Uni-assist but I've not been able to. I don't know if it's because I'm using my phone. I didn't travel with my PC and won't be returning till June.

If problem persists, let me know maybe I can help if you would share login details.

Hello everyone please who has an idea of any German scholarship that doesn’t require work experience I can apply for?, all the ones I have seen either require work experience or are course specific 😪. Or have an idea on any way I can seek for blocked account funding

Thanks alot bro

Congratulations on your admission offer

The next move is to book for an appointment with the German embassy for a study visa, if you haven't done so already. Check the embassy website for the student visa checklist and that should guide you on what documents to prepare..

Hello everyone.

Please, I’m new here and I’d appreciate your help with some clarifications.

I want to enroll for Bachelor’s degree in Germany, and one of the requirements is “University Entrance Qualification”.

I have my WAEC result, and I completed a 3-year Diploma in Nursing several years ago.
Am I eligible to apply?
Which of these certificates should I submit?

Here is a screenshot of the requirements below👇🏾

Thank you so much🙏🏽

Hello,
I didn't apply through uniassit. The school has their own application system so it was pretty smooth for me. And all required documents were notarised, scanned and uploaded.

Good luck!
PeculiarVee:

Hi Brytcool,

Congratulations on your admission.

I'm about to apply to the University of Kiel. Course- Masters of Science in Economics.

Please I have a few questions to ask you
1. In the mandatory questions by uniassist. There is a question I came across, it says, 'is your chosen course of study available in your Home country?'

I am confused if to choose Yes or No. I'm scared If I choose Yes, I won't be offered admission reason that I can take the course here in Nigeria. Also if I choose No, they would know I lied and still not give me the admission.

Please did you come across such question. If yes, what was your answer?

2. How long did it take for uniassist to process your admission.

3. How long did you have to wait to get feedback from uniassist and the school.

4. Did you have to send hard document to uniassist via post?

5. How did you pay your handling Fees to uniassist because I have tried a dollar card and it didn't work.

Your response will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Kindly go ahead and book a date in advance. You don’t require any document to book the appointment other than your passport no.

Thanks, man.

why not mail the school with the said documents and ask if it would be accepted... here you would never get first hand answers ..... mail the professors in charge.. and get first hand answers... its best that way...

when dealing with international applications you Email would be very useful at all times .........

As you are going for a Bachelor's degree you are eligible in all fields with the aforementioned documents but if its master's degree programs, it means that it will be few programs not all program.
Bachelor's degree means you are starting afresh and those documents will be use as your "University Entrance Qualification”.

Apparently it takes at least 12 week to process.. CBN now have a limit of $7,500 per applicant because of the increasing demand for form A (insufficient funds).

Hello guys,
Please is it mandatory that one’s CGPA must be included to their first year university transcript, even though the transcript is just for 100 level?
It already has the grades and credit units.
Because the way we calculate our GPA and CGPA is different from the German grading system.
Please I’d appreciate a response to this.

The essence of a transcript is to see the record of courses taken and your performance in them.
When you have your CGPA, then you convert to a German scale. Google that.

Meaning I can actually calculate the CGPA myself and convert it to that of the German grading scale even though the CGPA wasn’t added to the transcript right?

It has to be added. Every semester records has a CGPA and that should be added.

Hi guys, I’m new on here and I’m also new to the whole masters/ visa application for Germany but I’ve been able to apply to 2 schools, still awaiting response. I still don’t understand the blocked account thing and how am I suppose to go about opening one and also I’ll be traveling to Senegal next month, should I just hold on to apply for visa there instead of waiting for 15 months here in Nigeria

You can't apply from Senegal due to something known as "territorial competence" As a rule, you should apply in a country that you reside, and if you live in Nigeria, then you should apply from Nigeria.

Although exceptions applies, for example you are a Nigerian living in Senegal (not as a tourist, but with a Senegalese residence permit), then you can apply from Senegal (your place of residence) and Nigeria (your country of citizenship).

Applying from Senegal with documents from Nigeria will not be accepted, or accepted and rejected, since the consular can't examine/verify applications/documents from nigeria. They speak French in Senegal for example.
