emmasoft:. Do they give loans against their fund..if vyes, what is their rate and max tenor ? |
Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 3:38pm On Apr 16, 2023 |
Willie2015: I will get back to you as per Asset backed loan Confirmed from the team in charge. SFS as a firm don't give such loans. They only give such loan if you happen to be a staff of Polaris bank. |

sgtponzihater1:Ok I thought profits are calculated monthly NOT annually. Being that as it may, I don't feel it worth investing 1M just to profit 111-113k in a year time that's somehow poor. I'll rather invest my money in physical bussiness than this online investment that's I'll have to wait till a year time reached b4 enjoying the dividends of my profit. |

Windblown2much: You get your dividend every quarter. It is a source of passive income and savings for people who have a job. People who don't have a job should look for a small business to do with their N1 million 5 Likes 1 Share |

Windblown2much: Investing in a business and investing in a MMF are two different investment windows. They are not of the same risk category or involvement of the investor. MMF is in the category of low risk investment All things being equal the lower the risk the lower the returns. Moreover investments are made in different categories to achieve specific purpose. Please note that you don't have to wait for one year to get your returns in MMF, though rate is per annum, it's prorated such that you earn interest daily and you get credited quarterly. Most investors use MMF as another form of high interest savings compare to fixed deposits in MDBs. MMF is highly recommended for investors with low risk appetite and also good for emergency fund. So you can still do both business and MMF. 4 Likes |

emmasoft: Relationship should be mutual... You can suggest it to them... If I place N1m with them.... They should be able to give out 50 percent of the money... It is backed by the N1m... With no risk... |

I have been using AXA MANSARD MMF for over 2 to 3 years now but of late their services has been terrible. I noticed some missing funds in my account and I have written them twice with several reminders and nothing has been done about it for over a month. Do anyone have such complaints about them in general or any other faster means to resolve such complaints. |

Rufusmayle: Have you been given an account number for your MMF? If you have then input that number as your reference when transferring into their account, and that will fund your account. In 24 to 48hours you should get online login details. To be proactive, you can ask them to send your online login details for your new account via mail. If payments are made before 12 noon they'll reflect on your account on the same day. If not then the next working day. Let me know if this helps already. SgtPonzihater |

Don't stay without doing anything with your cash You don't have access to dollars, you don't have as much as 50m You can't do real estate because of limited funds Inflation is 22%+ The above is a list of some realities yet you can still do something Invest in MMF and reinvest your interest (Compounding) you could reduce the negative real returns by half Have a long-term objective and invest in good dividend-paying stocks on the NGX You can still get a dividend yield of up to 15% in some stocks Don't stop investing irrespective of the inflation rate Don't invest in get-rich-quick schemes it can be more devastating than high inflation Remember the popular saying " Return of investment is better than or to be considered first before return on investment" Your cash in your hands suffers more when not invested. Start somewhere and do something with what you have now Be wise! 5 Likes |

Re: Mutual Funds by Rufusmayle(m): 5:55pm On Apr 20, 2023 |
Thanks so much and I really appreciate your reply. They have sent me the login details! But where my confusion came is that i was given two account number, one is my MMF e-account number that have alphabet as the beginning number and another one they said via my bank through which i will transfer into and make the e-account number as reference. Please is that how they do it? Secondly i see that viewing my account via web is more ok than using the app as the app has no much information like the web. Hope I'm not using the wrong app. On the app, i can'teven find my name except for the e-account number.. Is that how it is? sgtponzihater1: |
Re: Mutual Funds by sgtponzihater1(m): 6:21pm On Apr 20, 2023 |
Rufusmayle: This is correct. Your e-account is your account number, and should always be used as reference every time you make a payment into their custodian account, usually a UBA account. I use my mobile app to check my funds from time to time, otherwise I am not overly fused about the details. I sometimes use the web to compare interest rates. Otherwise I just let things add up on its own. With time you'll figure out your own preference Thanks for keeping me updated and enjoy as well. SgtPonzihater |

I saw a comment where it was written that e-account number for the Money Market Fund doesn't start with an alphabet C-00 but just a number digit, please how true is this? And does anyone e-account starts from C-00? Please this last time. sgtponzihater1: |
Re: Mutual Funds by sgtponzihater1(m): 6:50am On Apr 21, 2023 |
Rufusmayle: Since you have a login what fund is showing on your account? My MMF did not start with a C. Only my other stock based funds came with one. However, since you can access your mobile account, you can very well tell what account it displays more than anyone else here. Hope this helps. PonziHater |

Re: Mutual Funds by Rufusmayle(m): 7:00am On Apr 21, 2023 |
I logged in via web and my account shows my name/Money Market Fund, followed by the e-account C-00.. But I noticed the app doesn't show my name like normal account except the e-account number but the web does show my name.. Is that how is it on the app? Thanks... sgtponzihater1: |
