IPOB with backing, and support of most Igbos have been maiming, and killing the Northerners in the East, and not a single time did the Northerner retaliate, the highest they did was For the Youths to asked the Igbos to leave, while all Northerners in the East were advice to return to the North, of course the Northern Elders reprimanded the Youths, and even threaten them with arrest, while your elders resident in the North go about proclaiming themselves as " NORTHERN IGBOS" grin grin grin.

Who rules Nigeria is determined by how much you are able to convince voters all over Nigeria of different ethnicity to support your ambition. Any candidate with the most votes become president

There are different strategies to achieve that in a multi ethnic society

Some do it by building bridges, Others do it by insulting people to vote them

You can spend the next 8yrs either building bridges and reaching out to ethnic groups outside yours, or you can spend the next 8yrs insulting them

The results await you in 2031

More importantly, the North is more politically savvy and trustworthy in politics as they have an advantage of a structured society for several generations (not western type though). Build real alliance with them and enlighten the educated illiterates within your constituency about the realities of democratic process (it is a game of numbers not morality).

The North watches your every move online and offline, just the same way you do but in a different way. They are trying to see if they can work with you, and the North will work with you if you sincerely work with them. If you don't understand that simple fact, then your only way out is secession and goodluck with that!

. God reveals this to you not men. Sadly any advice given to the SE usually goes to their deaf ears. Did you see BAT condemning the North at any time? He got the politics right.

Igbo people voted for Yoruba man Obasanjo in 1999 and 2003. They voted for Yar adua, northerner in 2007. They voted for Goodluck Jonathan, Ijaw southsouth in 2011 and 2015. They voted for Atiku, northerner in 2019.

It is only when they voted for someone from their tribe for the first time that is now tag nzogbu nzogbu politics.
Igbophobia is the reason most of you won't vote a candidate from southeast.

This is a comedy of absurd. This man who has literally failed his people and state made this comment. Tribe, religion or language do not make good governance. This man is an example that his views and opinion don't work. He is Igbo, he is from Abia state, he is from Ngwa, yet he did nothing for them. Absolute nothing.

If his comment was right, he would have been a great man for his people driving development to where he is from. Same with Buhari, he is from the noth, yet the place is the most devasted, uneducated and improvised region of the country. And power has come from the north more than any region of the country but with nothing to show. Ironically, the east that have not had control of power is the most developed in terms self and independent achievements. Visit the eastern region villages and towns

Guys, forget about tribe, religion and language. A good man, a competent man is not defined by these. It comes from his heart. Out of the good devices of his mind comes good intensions, actions and growth. PERIOD.

He can be christian, Moslem or have no religion, he can be ibo, Hausa or Yoruba. He can be rich or poor, old or young, male or female, educated or not educated, military or civilian, democratic or not....he reflects who they are on the people. Singapore, UAE, China, south Korea are recent examples

Nigeria is not a fair country - nobody hands leadership to anyone on a silver platte; you must fight for it.
You are right on point, nobody will to go a particular person or region and say it is time for you to be president. In political arena, every politicians fight for and protect their interests.

It is the PDP that they have been supporting since 1999 that did not believe in them. Nigerians are not the ones who do not want them to lead but the saying 'reap what you sow' means that if you plant seeds or do something good, you should expect to reap rewards later. Obviously, if PDP had allowed and rewarded them accordingly the story would have been different today, but instead they waged wars on the party that didn't offend them. As demonstrated in the just ended election, they still prefer the PDP over APGA. After LP that His excellency Peter Obi contested in, it was still the PDP . Prior to the APC primary, I could see grievances asking the party to zone its presidential ticket to the east, but they lacked the courage to ask the same of the PDP. According to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr "Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illumines it"
