Anyways, for me, I don't see any big deal in FRC despite the depositors removing their money due to SVB. People have the right to panick, but most are just joining the bandwagon to sell...especially after hours trading. Although it is up by 4% in after-hours trading...so expect a jump. See the attached below. It is high risk. Biden govt may take over the bank.

If it is not profitable by year's end, then forget it...we may bury a lot of banks in 2024.

Shares of First Republic Bank tumbled more than 49% after the regional bank posted its latest quarterly results, saying late Monday that deposits dropped 40% to $104.5 billion in the first quarter but have since stabilized.

The regional bank has been closely watched after investors grew concerned it could face the same fate as Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank, whose closures set off an industry crisis last month. First Republic shares have collapsed more than 93% so far this year.

In my opinion which of course is not final, this bank looks like it will be seized by the US Authorities.
Avoid the stock and any other regional banks for now.

Microsoft shares rose 9% in extended trading on Tuesday after the software maker issued fiscal third-quarter results and quarterly guidance that exceeded analysts’ predictions.

Here’s how the company did:

Earnings: $2.45 per share, vs. $2.23 per share as expected by analysts, according to Refinitiv.

$32 could be a strong support for Tesla.

Elon doesn't need to reinvent the wheels in the smart phone sector. All he just needs to do is to buy an existing phone maker (Like Blackberry) with a very low float. That way with $2B, he could acquire the whole company.

Nokia will be too expensive for him because the market capitalisation of Nokia as at yesterday stands at $23.55B while BB stands at $2.32B
