That's obviously a forest cobra.

Na exactly this snake we killed in our farm ,the snake have a corner outside the farm. On that faithful day,we sighted it from a far hanging on the roof . Immediately she saw us,she rushed down going back to her corner. We followed her and killed her after some minutes of searching. We dropped it outside the express road in Epe here, one man just find a nylon pack it home. The man was so happy.i was so surprised..

My brother had had a cobra spit in his eyes, we washed it and he saw a physician, that was like since 2007

Did this incident happened in Nigeria? Because I have never heard of a case of spitting Cobra in Nigeria.
