Nice half so far. Missed a big chance and had a goal disallowed for offside.

It’s probably also worth referencing the fact that Roman Abramovich twice looked into hiring Pochettino - once the timing wasn’t right for Poch and once the timing wasn’t right for Chelsea. I’m pretty certain he would have managed Chelsea under Abramovich at some stage though.

Fair play to Mjelde. I said she was slow but it seems she has completely shaken off that injury. She has been out muscling barca attackers and mopping up attacks in the Chelsea box.

I'm hoping what I saw in the second half was as a result of the energy they expended in a first half in which they hopefully played considerably better.

Injuries have greatly affected the team but still this long ball hoof method needs to change next season if we are to win this thing. Our midfield has been completely outplayed.

We did. It seems we can't match Barca intensity and it's not like they played a fast game but barca midfielders are quite technical and so good at keeping possession so our midfielders just have to run theirselves into the ground just to match them.


The way we keep loosing the ball whenever we have counter opportunities have really bounced back on us. Besides we lack the personnel to play the long balls for our two attackers up front. They just keep over hitting it. Those ones sef go don frustrate.
