dublinkmy6: This is one of the best comments i’ve read today. Frankly speaking, no man in his right senses will wanna hit a woman. Some people keep saying you should walk away(its not that easy, can you leave your house around 1am when everywhere is dark? Some women are devil in sheep clothing, they’ll frustrate you to extent that you’ll have to do the “reseting slap”. I pray you dont marry the wrong person. Been there and i know how it feels. |

1stGenAmerican: Emotional abuse is equal to physical abuse. One hurts the mind, the other the body. In the end the end a hurt mind also hurts the body. I know you women know but you hide under the cloak. Whenever you condemn physical abuse also condemn emotional abuse! 1 Like |

simplesearch: A little more study of Romans 7:1-3 would tell you Paul was referring strictly to those who knew the law or rightly put those who were under the law in those verses. You and every other Christian around the world (apart from Israeli Jews) were not under the law. That passage in its strictest sense doesn't apply to you. I Cor 7:13-15 Paul says if a woman's husband isn't unbelieving and still likes to be with her let the woman stay but if not she can go and marry another because she is not bound in such a union if the unbelieving husband doesn't like her. You see that the human will is given preference here. These are additional reasons for divorce and remarriage. Yet, these days, I have seen religious leaders compelling a woman terrorised by her unbelieving husband to remain with him, which clearly goes against scripture. In the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:9, 10 where Jesus gave the condition for divorce as fornication, the word Jesus used in the Greek was "porneia" meaning adultery, incest and other forms of illicit sex. These are valid reasons for divorce. Just trying to have a theological discourse bro. Enjoy your day. 1 Like |

Woman, you need to deliver through c.s. She said no, coz her pastor said that she will deliver like the Hebrew women. After several attempt to convince her, she refused and Doctor left her to her opinion. The next thing is that she died and baby survived. Pastors |

1stGenAmerican: I can’t leave my own house. I own it. I can’t bundle her out as well because the law is against kicking her out. And she’ll ruin my daughter as well. |

GreyLaw: In 1st Corinthians, the passage says the unbelieving spouse can go if they want to. Not that the believing spouse should go. That means a believer is not under any compulsion to stay in a marriage where the unbelieving spouse wants to walk. @OP: I guess pastor bashing (true they are not perfect) is the new thing in town. Hope the husband has been arrested by the girl's father? He is the only one who seems capable to do so. |

"A week after the divorce lawsuit was filed, his client, husband, pastors, and other family members met and agreed that the pair would resolve their differences outside of court." What a pejudistic reportage! How did manage to single out the clergy as been responsible for her misfortune after what you posted up there? How about her father and family members as reported? Most Nigerians and hypocrisy naa 5&6. I'm not surprised. |

Cases like this breaks my heart so much, because I know the manipulation and emotional blackmail that was used on the victim, having experienced religious blackmail for refusing to step into any church for some years now,It will be a continuous warfare to free people especially Nigerians from the shackles of organised religion run by a mafia backed by government. The government especially in Nigeria has recognized that religion is a major form of control hence government sponsors pilgrimages to encourage religion. The day Nigerians realize they can think for themselves without needing the guidance of another human or book, that day will be the dawning of a new day. 1 Like |

cococandy:Damn!!! Is there something emotionally and mentally wrong with you? Is it so difficult to type without insulting someone? You did same thing some minutes ago, look at you now? Allow people to air their opinion no matter how stupid it is. You're a married woman, and just coming out from the fasting period. Kindly maintain some decorum. 5 Likes |

JasonScoolari: It takes a special kind of hypocrite to talk about fasting and then turn a blind eye to posts that endorse violence against women. Disgusting. The ladies that are maintaining decorum while y’all actively call for women to be harmed are part of the reason men like you and that poster I quoted feel comfortable saying the things you say. Things that lead to the death of women. Take your fasting bullshiet and shove it where the sun don’t shine 3 Likes |

JasonScoolari: You’re the emotionally and intellectually destabilized one if you can’t see the connection between the violence y’all propagate on this forum and the real life effect it has on the safety of women around you. Also I don’t know what me being married has to do with the conversation. I suppose being married means I have to become one of the desperados you see everywhere that stay mute in the face of BS in order to keep a MRS title. 3 Likes |

JasonScoolari: The audacity you have to expect a civil response to a post that suggests women should be beaten like children tells me you have dry cotton wool where your brain is supposed to be. Here how about you formulate a civil response to this. “I think you and that guy are lowly animals that deserve to be chained up and trained like animals”. I mean since a civil response is the perfect thing to say to disrespectful comments I suggest you come up with something civil in response to that 1 Like |

JasonScoolari: Between us it’s clear who was raised in a condition where beating wives and mothers is considered normal and a sign of family leadership. That’s why you can’t understand why anyone would have something to say against that. Your damaged parents raised a damaged man who goes online and advocates for more violence on the women in their family. You should be embarrassed 4 Likes 1 Share |
