Download the Gotok app on Play store or App store, register and create a new virtual card on the app. You have the option to pick between a Mastercard or Visa card, I believe both works on AliExpress. (note: they will ask for your bvn, nin and you are going to upload a selfie)

I used Mastercard and it was seamless. No OTP or anything, the payment went through instantly. The Refund of an order I cancelled after payment reflected quickly too.

But if your parcel is at the post office they will probably call you, or if you are impatient you could just stroll to the post office close to you and enquire about your item...

Turns out all I had to do was appeal the payment. Appeal was successful. And payment has gone through. For those who have similar issues

PS: I traveled for now but briefly from my main address area used on Aliexpress butcan travel back immediately to collect a package if its available, its not too far, I've written NIPOST on their official email with tracking number to make enquiries but no reply since, i reaaly need the package urgently

Anyway to know if the package is with Post office near me before traveling back & forth?

simce you're far from where you used as delivery address, I'll advise you to send someone to the post office to help you inquire about your parcel. it should have reached your post office by now

Not really that far, about 45mins journey, but that's not an issue though, i'll try let someone go check or travel soon & do so myself

Which of their(NIPOST) office numbers did you call that gave you a response, all the customer care line on their official website no dy go through

Where are you stuck? In cause your card is being rejected by Aliexpress with the option to appeal, and after appealing, the problem still persists, you may have to do the following :
1. Update the Gotok mobile application. The former version has bug. But the latest has taken care of the bug.
2. If you still can't make payments, use their mobile or desktop web version @

This really helped when I had problem funding my card and making payments on AliExpress, just before the update to their mobile app.

Yes but binance will do the conversion automatically at checkout, so technically you can still pay with usdt.

You can as well convert usdt to busd on the Binance app, it's easy and free.
