Hi guys My kid bro application got refused cause of home tie and insufficient fund For home tie, he has a son but not married, we have a family property not his own, for funds am planning to move about 8m into his account showing statement of about 9m. We paid 6000 CAD for tuition. My question is, if I move the funds in my account to his and explain source of fund in SOP as deed of gift, will I still need to present my SOA too? Secondly we are planning to reapply by June, the funds won't be more than 2months in the account. In the first application we did not mention anything about him owning any landed property cause am considering packaging land documents for him. Will it fly? Abeg help a brother, this thing is giving me serious headache |

Hi everyone, I am trying to pay my tuition fee to york University but form A is taking a long time to process lthough I already used black market to pay my enrollment fee. To anyone who has had any sort of experience with this, was it possible for you to defer your admission without paying your tuition fee. i will really appreciate if i can get a response on this so i can know the next action to take. Thank you in advance |

mayowade50: Firstly, how much is the total tuition for the programme and duration? Do you have the GCMS notes for the refused application? The answers to these questions will determine how you will package the new application. When you get a gift deed, the send does not need to show their SOA, the PA will have to explain who the person is and why they are giving them money. He can use his son as home ties as well as his present job. The land will be an added hometie. 2 Likes |

Good day I am about to start my application and these are my problems Basic: Going for a 1 year Diploma because I never went to University. Just some professional cosmetics training 1. I am 26 years old single lady 2. I own an unregistered cosmetic store and my account balance is less than N800,000 3. My sponsor is not related to me at all 4. He wants to transfer my tuition and living expenses to me but he said he can't give me documents that relates to him 5. Sponsor is not ready to say anything about his source of funds or anything like that 6. Sponsor said he can only give me gift deeds of 10m. He won't give me his statement of account or provide any details pertaining to him. 6. I don't have another option Questions 1. How do I proof the source of my 800k since my business is not registered and I use my personal account for payments 2. Will just my sponsor's gift deed suffice? 3. There's nothing in my bank statement. Because people send me money small small. Like 10k 50k 100k. So nothing is there if I submit 4 or 6 months bank statement. 4. My admission is for September. I've paid 1000 CAD advance tuition. And what's left in my account is about 800k 5. I am just tired. Poor man's child is so frustrated. What can I do? Samade7: That is taking too long, did you use a third party or you requested yourself? If you have the funds request for GBSA GCMS notes, you will get it in 1 month. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Bobomaigida: 3:57pm On Apr 24, 2023 |
Ascomed0: First thing you need to draw up your budget to knwo if the gift deed will be enough. How much is the tuition + living expenses+ return tickets+ misselleanous You will need a strong SOP to explain the gift backed with the gift deed that was sent to you by the sponsor, thankfully the programme is one year so you will go as more or less self-sponsored. What you have in your account is ok, you will add it to your 10m. 1 Like |

Bobomaigida:My tuition is $15k + Living expenses N10k. That's N25k But he said he can do gift deed but he won't give me anything else. Not even his passport or employment or anything else. I'm just confused. But he said he'll transfer 10m to my account As at now, the only financial document I have are: 1. My statement of account 2. Gift deed That's all. Are these okay? |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Bobomaigida: 4:11pm On Apr 24, 2023 |
Ascomed0: 15+10+2.5+3 =30,500 (That is equivalent to N10,370,000) Your funds are ok. if he does not give you the documents, no wahala. You will however need to write a good SOP to explain the gift deed and why he is gifting you the money. ( You could explain that he has seen the success you have achieved in your business and that he gave you the funds to pursue additional education to allow you come back home with the qualification to expand the business beyond what it is now) 6 Likes |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Ascomed0(f): 4:21pm On Apr 24, 2023 |
Bobomaigida:Okay. How should I explain my job? And the source of my 800k? Because the business is not registered. Should I just tell them I use my personal account for business and I operate an unregistered business? I'm just scared of incriminating myself. That's why I am asking. Sorry for too much question |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Bobomaigida: 4:30pm On Apr 24, 2023 |
Ascomed0: You are not incriminating yourself at all, what you can say is you run a small business that deals with linking sellers and buyers of cosmetics products while you are paid a commission, you will explain the business is an informal business that has not yet attained the status to be registered since it does not involve specialized license procedure. When you write your SOP, you focus will be how the course will help come to improve the business and make a structured one with the ability to employ workers and lift people out of unemployment etc. 5 Likes |
