1. Oh, you misunderstood! The 42% taxation is not meant for the actual building of Chicago-like structures but instead to go towards preparations that need to be in place, and continuously maintained by Government in order for investors to then come in and build their structures.

2. Even most of the formerly impoverished areas have undergone gentrification over the years. The people are fighting back since gentrification also means a rise in the cost of living leading to more and more of the poor being pushed outside the city limits.

That started out wrong— they put in substandard roads that won’t be able to sustain the weight of the heavy equipment needed to finis( building going back and forth. 😔 By the time everything is built, the roads will be torn up and needing major repairs. How do developers with so much money fail to think?
