This woman is not fit for work in govt in a multi ethnic and multi religious country. Her devilish mindset and statements that flow from her reptilian tongue are enough to spark off a civil war.
If she must serve her paymasters, she must not do that in most inciting manner.

. So in her warped narrow mind anyone who disagrees with her or her approach to national issues is an Obi supporter, if the guy had been igbo she would have tagged him ipob, myopic people in power.

If we check your wife now, e go be another story.

She replied him exactly as she should. She initially replied him well even explaining that countries far superior are prioritizing diplomats and their families in very 'complex and rapid' operations. She even prayed that they would be home safely. The guy deflected her prayer. Na them go still dey attribute God to PO because their pastor said it. Spits!

And you think that's how a responsible government official should respond on a public forum??

You guys are all sh.ameless, sense.less and use.less in that usele.ss country!

Read well before commenting. She replied another person not the guy and the guy's comment wasn't insulting. You want to evacuate your citizens then get up and get to work stop saying by God's grace or is it when they all die in the war that you will go there? It's like a student who should be studying for exams but lazying about and hoping to pass by God's grace.

Stop this please.
Don't attribute God to inadequacies. An average black African, Nigerians inclusive, invoke God for the wrong reasons. People don't work but pray for divine harvests. Let her sit with her team to brainstorm & work out modalities towards rescuing the folks out there. Some of the richest guys in the world are atheist, they work hard or smart, dividends surface, not sitting fallow & expecting "Miracles", besides her uncouth response is unbecoming of a public figure, such are prone to critisms, Emmanuel Macon of France was stoned with eggs, I bet she would have killed people if she were the one.

And do you know that the British stated that they can't even evacuate anyone right now... Go online to BBC news... You will see it there . The OP just purposely omitted it

She should have left all correspondence to the ministry of foreign affairs at the front end and collaborated with the ministry of foreign affairs and all other agencies at the back end to find an open window to evacuate Nigerians caught in the crossfire (correct me if l am wrong)
Re: Exchange Between Abike Dabiri And Prince Bamidele by WHITELIGHTER: 11:55am On Apr 25, 2023
From the comments here, it shows that One Nigeria is an illusion. There will always be Nigerians who see no wrong in our leaders, who worship their mess and sing their praises.

Somehow, Abike brought in Obidients and irrelevant information into the discuss and deliberately left out the most important information, Nigerians in Sudan...it's a pity to still see people here clapping for her. We deserve the leaders we have.

attached is a map of sudan.

there are over 5000 nigerians stranded in sudan.

because they are students, they are scattered across the country. they are not diplomats at the embassy in kharotum, or multinational workers whose employers have contingency plans

the airport is in khartoum and is a complete no go area as the fighting is in khartoum.

in the best of situations, you try to get the citizens to a safe zone after which you evacuate by air. there is no safe zone in sudan right now, and there are over 5000 students in different universities

assuming you can even get half of those students , that is a convoy of 20 buses in a warzone trying to make it to the border. where are you going to get 20 to 50 buses especially as you are competing with the brits who have 3000 stranded?

The distance between Chad and Khartoum is 1448 km. The road distance is 2480.3 km.
The distance between Khartoum and Egypt is 1237 km. The road distance is 2046.8 km.
driving distance between Khartoum to Ethiopia is 1467 km. It takes approximately 21h 12m to drive from Khartoum to Ethiopia.

now imagine driving a convoy of civilians those distances through rebel occupied areas.

how are you going to coordinate students to get to the buses location?

it is truly a may god have mercy on their souls moment - because the more one thinks about it, the more dire and impossible the situation looks.

Oga you have time to be explaining, I have been thinking how the students would be moved /gathered together in one place in a war situation. Then how will they move to a safe zone.

Maybe people need to know what war is because it's easy sitting in Naija and simulating.

Can't imagine what the students and parents are going through.
