While Fox seems to have made a wise business decision. They are in a precarious position. They just settled for 700 Billion. Have another case for the same thing coming up where they could easily lose another $700 Billion. They have a shareholder suit in progress for how they handled all the election lies. They have a suit by a top producer ready to spill tea on all the racism, sexism, and machinations that happened in the company. And amongst all this they are renegotiating rates with Cable and Network providers.

I think this was their attempt to get in front of all of it and look like they are being responsive. And honestly, I think Fox made Tucker more than the other way around. Bill O'Reilly was before Tucker and got similar ratings before he was fired as well.
