In Benue state INEC actually inflated results for both Peter Obi and Tinubu of APC to cover tracts

Peter Obi actually scored 190k votes ( inec announce 308k )

Tinubu scored 189k ( inec announce 310k )

Over 121,000 ghost votes added to Tinubu in Benue and he actually lost Benue by a very small margin of 1500 votes

The first question is if the INEC guidelines for the process for transmitting results were followed. The failure of comparing IREV with paper EC8A during collation violates this guideline. This led to the protest by PDP and LP agent. This issue was not addressed before calling the winner even though the INEC chairman promised to do so.

The second question is if all the results displayed on the IREV tally with the EC8A CTCs and if the disparities are substantial. It is clear that substantially the results do not tally.

These grounds are enough to cancel the elections and order a rerun.

The only other possibility is to do a recount.

At the bolded, what's substantial can also be enough reason to call for a rerun not necessarily awarding another winner.

Tinubu won less than 40% of the entire votes. If the objections comes close to that, it gets lower and then it's substantial enough. This is unlike previous years when the winner and runner up gets over 40% each.
