1. Do you even realize right now that you are the one arguing with Jesus Christ on this? Jesus Christ told you in Matthew 15 vs 24 that He was sent by God only to the Lost sheep of Israel. Paul, whom you quoted earlier, explained that it is only those who were formerly under God's Law that can partake in Jesus Christ and are hence true descendants of Abraham. In that same, Paul pointed to the fact that there are those among the Israelites who are not Jews aka Israelites of foreign birth. So, what part of what is written in Acts 28 vs 28 convinces you that Jesus Christ lied in His Gospel?

2. But what kind of repentance? Surely, you do not think the facetious repentance from sin doctrines preached from pulpits, right? Repentance, as preached by John the Baptist, is an abandoning of the Old Way and Law of god — the Law of Moses— to follow and live one's life instead according to the New Law and Covenant, Jesus Christ. It is only by doing this that one can then eventually become born-again. Those who do not do this — abandon the Old Law of Moses — cannot have a part in the New agreement, Jesus Christ, and will not be able to become born-again as a result. In verse 8 of the passage below, John instructs the Pharisees to change their hearts and show by the way that they live that they have in fact changed from following the Old Way to following the New Way — Jesus Christ.

Suffice to say, the kind of repentance God desires is not an abandoning of one's sinful ways but more importantly, but rather an abandoning of the hold the Old Law had on one to embrace instead a full commitment to following and abiding by the direct teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ alone. Once one is baptized in water after this, one is said to have concluded the work of obedience necessary for one to be Born of water. And who are those over whom the Old Law of Moses has a hold on still? Those who are born of the blood of Israel aka Jacob.

So, yes, the right kind of repentance is essential for one to in fact become born-again complete with the evidence of that promised by Jesus Christ. Any other kind of repentance is null. And yes, Faith, which is continuous submission and obedience to the teachings and commandments of God, the very kind exhibited by Abraham himself - Genesis 26 vs 5 - is the same kind of faith God still requires of us in Jesus Christ, God's Constitutional Law in the Kingdom of God.

But in Nigeria, one pastor would want to tell you how to run your business, manage your family, manage stress at the office, manage your studies as a student, tell you who and who not to get married to, see vision and prophesies for you, keep asking you to sow seeds and make donations for problems he has no solution to...etc. You would end up becoming slaves to them, cos at that point, they'll literally be controlling every area of your life and you would have very little success to boast of.

You're very right when you said they spiritualized everything cos that's exactly what they do. They know that once they tell you that God showed them this or that you would believe them more. The average African is a mental slave to religion.
