Poten111: Which tension? Even if you give presidency to the south east they can't be appeased under APC. There is hatred against APC. South Easterners will be represented in other positions. If they have the numbers to emerge as Speaker or Senate President, good but if not, heaven will not fall. 3 Likes |

I agree with you completely but where there is a problem is the fact that Igbo does not deserve such exalted position nor will they appreciate instead their hate will grow bigger with more ego so the best thing is to deflate that ego n ensure they never get it. Personally, I rather Nigeria is polarized than Tinubu doing a single thing to please the Igbo. Left to me Igbo will not be left alone to run their mouth like they do on SM. If I was Tinubu your papa go suffer pass civil war error if Nigeria wan scatter make e scatter. Poten111: 3 Likes |

Parachoko: Yes you did Akpabio of Akwa Ibom delivered over 160, 000 votes for Tinubu, more than the entire SE Orji Kalu failed to deliver even 9000 votes from his Abia State Who looks more committed between the two Even Oshomhole of SS delivered more votes from his Senate District of Edo North alone than the entire SE . 5 Likes |

Arrogant Nonsense! Nigeria still playing ethnic politics and still expecting different results. Tell me, how has PMB eight years in office benefited the North? More Northerners died under PMB than under any previously elected democratic President of Nigeria. Following your tired and flawed logic, it is my belief that, the Yorubas will be salivating now and thinking the next four, eight years will be remarkable for them, none sense! The only thing that would happen is the same that had been happening all these time…that is, the rich will keep getting richer while the poor will continue to be poor. |

We’ve gone past that stage after realizing nothing is ever going to please the Igbo people. Akpabio is now the chosen one and that’s it. Deputy speaker is more than enough for the South east considering how they voted and how they’ve wishing all kind of evil on the president-elect and the party. 3 Likes |

Poten111: It is better to offend or marginalize the South East than to offend or marginalize the South South. The South South lays the golden egg, they contribute d resources used to run Nigeria. If they are offended, they can shut down the oil, remember the Avengers? Do we want oil production to be 600K barrels per day like it was when they felt offended after GEJ lost and Buhari just came in? Even if d South East is offended, the worst they can do is abuse everyone on social media which they are already doing, declare Monday seat at home in d SE which they have already done or maybe extend it to Tuesday or unleash ESN and Unknown Gun Men to terrorize their own people. Nothing concern the other regions and d national treasury, they would simply be ignored. So it's far better to offend d SE than to offend d SS. Moreover even if u give SE Senate President, they will call d person a traitor and still hate APC as Islamic party. Akwa Ibom alone gave APC almost same votes that d entire SE gave in d presidential election. Akpabio Senate President, done deal 2 Likes |

Poten111: You see, the problem is not about putting an Igbo person there. The problem is about trust. Yes, trust! Being trustworthy while on that seat has never been a forte for Igbos in as much as the president is Yoruba. We knew what China Oladigbo did during OBJ'S 1st term before fortune smiled on the president via the demise of the troublesome SP. Okadigbo made it his sole purpose on that seat to frustrate all OBJ'S moves to better the country. Same with Anyim Pius Anyim. I can't even remember who cooperated between Enwerem and Waabara. But what I am trying to say is that with the Obi wahala and the political animosity Igbos usually have against Yorubas, it will be safer by a long yard to put someone from the SS there. 1 Like |
