Sudan Update: For ease of conveying the students, they were put on the buses according to their states of origin , as our excited Student doing this narration tells us here. Journey mercies

I saw this one Twitter and I have been wondering the rationale behind it. I thought the aim was to get them out of Sudan and back to Nigeria? So how exactly will separating them according to their state of origin[not even residence, which still doesn't make sense ] help?

Someone that knows better should educate me abeg.

Nice one

People don dey add tribal coloration to this news. There are other Africans who are also stranded in Sudan, they can claim to be Nigerians, the coordinator was very clever.

To those asking about, what about their passports, it be like some of una never witness ordinary street fight before not to talk of war. Would you even think of your belongings in such situation?

Again nice one

If a state of origin matters in times of war, the country should be divided so everyone will know where he or she belong.

I hope Igbos in Sudan weren't left behind because they are Igbos.

This is the only reason why anything will be done on the basis of state of origin.

Ohaneze should investigate this and commence evacuation of any Igbo man or woman in Sudan.

If you want them out of there and home safely then your priority should be to hurriedly get them out of a war zone. So pray tell, what exactly is the reason they boarded the buses according to their states of origin.

These are what we are fighting against.

You know right that the buses are taking them to a drop zone where they will board the plane that will bring them back to Nigeria right?

I just have to bring these questions here

SSFeedsNigeria:
Do they have 37 buses, i.e one bus for each state and the fct?

Or will the buses continue going back and forth 37 times even if some state buses are not filled to capacity during their own turn?

Can Abike and the those supporting this rubbish make it make sense?? Will Air Peace also fly them to Nigeria according to their states of origin?

APC has really destroyed this country.

I'm sure they have tangible reasons for such , we must learn to commend efforts irrespective of our political differences

You assumed they have a reason and you are commending them without knowing the reason? Jesus Christ in heaven.

Let me be more direct, as the chairman of Nigerians in diaspora, why will you make these students to board the buses according to their states of origin?

I am joining you to assume that you are Abike.

cool

Most Governors would welcome their indegeneous people home with some start up package and money

During the Ukrainian crisis and repatriation Oyo state indegenes got some money with the Office of the Deputy Governor..

Each Passenger would be profiled and processed by immigration based on their Passport and state of origin or place of birth

Someone up there said $1,200,000 million is too much to evacuate 3000 people just to berate the Government

$1.2m/3000 = $400 per head

#180k per citizen

Feeding

Lodging

Security

Logistics

See this beyond political affillliations. we are talking about treating Nigerians as Nigerians first before states and tribes.

If you can't personally give a logical explanation to why this was done then why are you appreciating it?
