hunee:I'm saying 1000 was put when asked for how much he was personally planning to spend. However when asked if anyone was paying towards it, I put myself and the whole 1000 for the amount I will be paying, so it means he won't be contributing anything. Thanks |

Thegamingorca:Thanks. Lots of relationship evidence was put. Childhood pictures, birth certificates etc. He is coming to attend my graduation with my dad who hold a visit visa already so can't really apply to other countries for now..Will just try again with more student evidence and his bank statement, and if they grant him that's good, if not, we move. |

narpheesarh: For this I think you should put 0 or 1 instead of the 1000. |

narpheesarh: Instead of his bank statement it will be advisable to only put yours. Then explain properly in a cover letter. He is not expected to have savings as a student without work. It will only dent his chances |

thelma76: Yeah Schengen visa was my first call of action when I got my passport (I did change of name in September and it got delayed till April first week, Nigeria wahala). However the earliest appointment date I saw was 19th May, which wasn't working for the conference schedule. I'm honestly tired although I've sent the Montenegro ministry of foreign affairs an email, if things don't work out, I'll just free it and go for the upcoming Kenya conference. |

Thegamingorca: It's because of what the ECO wrote below: "Whilst I have noted your student status, the information presented does not demonstrate your own financial circumstances, for example evidence to show that any money is remitted to you on a regular basis or how you are financially supported during your studies. I am therefore not satisfied you have sufficiently demonstrated your own financial circumstances" Does that not mean his bank statement? Please house |

narpheesarh:pls include it next time. It was one of the refusals reasons so address it in your next application and apologise that you didn’t know it’ll be needed. …they need a lot of evidence.. not just introduction letter.. all school results, school fees receipts, departmental levy, id card… everything he has from the school with his name on it should be presented. They want to be sure he is actually in school. Also pls never think any evidence is rubbish. For how much personally he is spending write 1 naira. If he has upcoming exams.. produce the timetable too.. everything and anything with his name and the school’s name should be attached. Matric day pictures ooo.. visiting day pictures oo.. standing infront of school gate pictures sef… add all 1 Like |

giselle237:Thank you Giselle..I will change it to zero then. Funny enough, I have always used thesame method for my parents, I put the amount they need in the 'personally spend section' and then say, I will pay the whole of it in the 'will anyone pay towards it' section and they always grant them. Maybe because he is a student. Thanks so much |

Good afternoon Guys, Please I want to inquire about this UK-family-visa/adult-dependent-relative Visa. I have a lot of my family members of the same surname (my father's step brothers) who are British citizens (from an English mother). One of my Uncle has decided to sponsor my VISA application via this route and reading about it from the UKVI website, it states that I can settle in the UK as long as I have family who is citizens and is confirmed to be my relative and can also provide the necessary required information. I want to ask for more info on this from our experienced mods. Also, the procedure and expenses involved. Cos the Visa application fee alone is about 3,250 pounds. I never even know how the IHS wan go yet. I just need advice and direction too. Thanks, everyone for the great work here and for all the support. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 1:18pm On Apr 27, 2023 |
seanaddy:Do not bother yourself as this route is exceptionally difficult. Adult Dependent Relative (ADR) route is one of the TOUGHEST ROUTE to bring your Parents or close relatives to the UK and the THRESHOLD is very HIGH. There is more than 97% REFUSAL RATE in last 5 years...However, if your parents or close relatives are too old and so ill that they cannot even perform their daily house chores like Cooking, Ironing, Shopping, bathing etc and there is no one else to look after them back home (All children in the UK or aborad), No old care homes in their Country of Residence and they are wholly dependent on you, then you may have a valid reason to apply for them under this route. If anyone insists please consult an immigration lawyer. 1 Like |

Cleo18: It will be better you give into the German package oh Money no dey UK. There is a thread on care workers migrating to the UK, read from beginning to the end you would be better served by what you find there and how to go about securing a job. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 2:25pm On Apr 27, 2023 |
Cleo18:if it is about submitting applications you cant relent. You must continue. U basically need to find a sponsor in the UK who has a sponsorship licence to give you a job/COS. Most people are coming in via Healthcare Assistant roles. Then try and read up the skilled worker thread here as most of the people in same shoes are there. https://www.nairaland.com/6748312/uk-skilled-worker-visa-health If you have any challenges, then ask Beware of scammers. They are so many now. 1 Like |

Hello friends good job y'all doing here, pls is 2 million naira in savings and 1.8k USD in DOM account enough POF to apply for UK tourist visa? I'm employed with 210k monthly salary and small side hustle that funds my day to day expenses in another account with up to 18 million inflow and outflow within the last 6 months (lump sums of about 1m at different intervals due to business payments) so I barely touch my monthly salary in my savings account, I'm a single 29 yrs old and no properties yet and no travel history so my only ties to Nigeria is my job and family relations, are these ties sufficient to get me a tourist visa approval? |

Good day everyone, i am preparing my salary account so that I can apply for visit visa soon, but issue now is that there were some transactions i made with the ATM card of the account that was declined ( more than 3 transactions), after more than 2 or 3 months the money is being reverse back to the account, please gurus in the house i hope the money that is being reverse back will not affect my account when applying for visa. |

giselle237: I support this advise. My cousin is British. They have refused to give her own children British passport. It is worse if the dependant is an adult. |

emmanuelle27: Hmmmm... Maybe you should try other Countries first. I'm not trying to discourage you as there's nothing impossible with God. However, these are the red flags I spotted in your write up: 1. Your monthly salary is low 2. No travel history 3. Single 4. No property You can try. Perharps others can help with tips. 2 Likes |
