Some controversial and confusing statements have purportedly been issued by Ohaneze Ndigbo of resent which always run contrary to what Ohaneze is known to have stood for.

But I want to use this avenue to tell the world that the man who parades himself as the Secretary General of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, and issues silly statements in that capacity, is an impostor who does not and has never spoken for Ohaneze Ndigbo.

If anything, Mr Isiguzoro is but a tool in the hands of those who are experts in causing schisms in any organization they see that they cannot buy. They tried to do it with Afenifere but the age long organization were able to defeat their shenanigans. They are currently doing it with the Labour Party and have gotten an impostor to be issuing statements to their support in the name of Ohaneze.

So, please, the next time you read any statement emanating from this character do not give it any credence as being the position of Ohaneze or Ndigbo.

The authentic Secretary General of Ohaneze Ndigbo is Chief Alex Ogbonnia. He’s the only person whose statement you should take seriously as what Ohaneze Ndigbo’s is as regards any sociopolitical issue in Nigeria.

So, Nairaland and its owner and moderators, stop pushing the statements of Okechukwu Isiguzoro to front page as position of Ohaneze.

I have never for once in support of the Adamawa's REC even before the supplementary election.

Btw, what's the total number of the Ohaneze excos that they can't conduct ordinary exco election without having factions? It has been like that for years now. Do they expect INEC to be conducting election for them?

There was only one election of Ohaneze Ndigbo in Owerri, Imo State, where the late Prof George Obiozor emerged as President General and Alex Ogbonnia emerged as Secretary General.

Unfortunately, the sponsors of the impostor who is now parading himself as Secretary General, sponsored a parallel election where the characters causing confusion now claim to have emerged.

When next you see Mr Isiguzoro, ask him who is the President General of his own faction since he claims he’s the Secretary General and not the president.
