Peruzzi went into singing when he does not understand how the industry operates, he is only good at writing..... All i am saying is that Peruzzi is not talented at singing.

It's time and chance. That happens to all men. Some maximize theirs, while others waste theirs. There's time for everything under the sun. Remember, Tony Tetula, Olu Maintain, Zule Zoo, Danfo Driver' singers, M.I (his stuff has dwindled over the yes), ASA, 9ice, etc. There was a time Fuji and Gospel prospered a lot, but time is the only constant thing in life because it changes everything under the sun. Portable and others will fizzle out pending with time.

Wizkid keeps dominating cos of consistency (in dishing out songs, whether e sweet or not ), creativity and good management.

Not for the lack of musical abilities sha, it's just a case of how much you can push and how far your management can go.

Even the ones Poppin currently can't rival the pen game of Peruzzi and mayorkun.
And some of these artist are being cancelled out in the industry too.

The fear of not being famous again will not allow some of them to give up quickly.. They won't even mind dishing out rubbish just to stay in the game while some will just feel fulfilled after releasing one or two nice songs.

Mayorkun is still popping a little, his dwindling popularity is as a result of no solid platform, I opine he shouldn't have left DMW as Davido's grace was working for him but he wasn't grateful enough. Ever since he left DMW, his popularity has greatly diminished.

Mayorkun is lyrically skillful, no doubt. I so much love his latest songs: “Oshey Boys” and “Alarm”. Super dope tracks. Oxlade also featured him on “Bad Boy”.

As for Peruzzi, he has fallen off and he's still in DMW. I think he needs new grace. He's still putting in work but his songs no longer pop. His pen game is top notch, he wrote “Fia” and “Unavailable” for Davido.
