IbeOkehie:On the contrary, it’s people with attitude like yours that is spoiling your country. Not listening but trying to force your viewpoint. Both of you are not trying to read to understand but just bantering baselessly. If you both had taken the time to listen to each other, you would realise that you are both right. But instead, you have spent hours writing epistles and just derailing this thread. Today na Sunday, so oga rest abeg make we see road. 4 Likes |

hustla: I know about ITIL, CCNA, A+, N+, and S+. Additionally, I am aware that my first certification should be A+, CCNA, or ITIL, after which I can select either N+ or S+ if I want to specialise in networking or security. I also know that I should learn Excel, SQL, Python, R, etc. if I want to pursue data analysis. But my concern is that if I start studying for an A+, I won't realise that data analysis would have been a better course of study. I just need a guide from the tech guru in the house, since I think I'll do fine in any of those fields. 3 Likes |

tommy589: That's a touching story and it's typical that most Nigerians resident in the UK and other countries abroad make heavy financial contributions to support people back in the home country. The number one drawback to the prosperity of the Nigerian diaspora is their financial commitments to friends and family back home. That's why it's maddening to read the constant denigration of diasporans on this forum. I've read such insults as far back as 2003, I largely ignored them but to still read such commentary in the past 3 years, when the Nigerian economy is in deep depression, when there's ample proof of the incompetence and delinquency of the collective Nigerian people, come on man, it's intolerable. I'm known around Raleigh generally and in my social circle as someone who stridently preaches that Nigerians should first ensure their own prosperity here in the USA before sending major financial help to Nigeria. Anyhow, never mind my opinion, things are changing. Experience is Everything. The details would be too much to elaborate, but everyone will see it unfold over time - just as a decreasing number of Nigerian diasporans go home to marry people there, fewer and fewer will continue building houses there and even visiting. And much of that withdrawal will be because they've been serially cheated and generally had bad outcomes from such commitments. Happy Sunday to you. kwakudtraveller: LOL, Nigerians always like to argue over FACTS when it doesn't suit them. The question is simple - from general observation and experience, considering ALL political, social and economic metrics, does the average Nigerian in Nigeria have a better standard of living than the average Nigerian in the UK? It's that simple. Everyone knows the answer and it's not even close. Even if you dismiss all evidence, you can't dismiss the BILLIONS OF POUNDS STERLING that Nigerians send home from the UK every year. There's no dismissing that. I don't live in UK or Nigeria now, but I've spent extensive periods of time in both places and I know what I experienced. We can't be both right. For instance, he alleged that Nigerians at home have entrepreneurial drive. I showed that's not true. There's nothing like "to each his own" when it comes to truth, truth is neutral. But Nigerians are a different breed of human being, after all they believed the LIE that "there's nothing like fuel subsidy" from 2012 to 2015, it's only now that reality has dawned on them, AFTER the subsidy has literally bankrupted the country. ![]() That's why their country will remain a Zoo for a loooong time to come. Good Luck to Nigerians. 3 Likes 1 Share |

So what he's say is that 1. You can't drive on provisional licence without a fully licensed person sitting next to you when driving. 2. As part of the getting full drivers license, you need to first do a theory test and practical test thereafter and if successful in both you will be issued a full dL. 3. On the other hand, if you do a theory test and pass, you need to do the practical test within a 2 years time frame else the theory test result expires and you need to resit it. 4. Your full dL last for 10 years. Renewal is all about ticking boxes and paying the fees except you were indicted and required to do some test. 😂 eniola1010: 2 Likes |

Drey1: For automatic, it was pricey so I paid so much for tax which was 295 or285(can’t remember exact amount) but a colleague of mine bought his Toyota car(Manual )for less than £2000 and he pays £20 but with high insurance. He mentioned to me then that his insurance was like £1400. I was shocked as mine was just £900. As they mentioned above, your insurance will keep on reducing as the years goes by |
