SmartyPants: How many countries do you see have a all major cities in them and all act as cities? Lagos is called a city for a reason, just like other cities in the world. |

WriterrNig: Spot on! Chinaphobia has clouded peopleβs judgement. The whole propaganda about Chinese loans/debt traps is coming from the US media. Funny thing is, US herself is more indebted to China than anyone can ever be. 6 Likes |

Killermamba:Nigeria is one of China biggest market in the African continent. They support the government with aids, grants and they partner with her in many areas. China supply cheap but standard and affordable products to Africa that can compete with the best in the world. China is the only country that means well for Africa. 3 Likes |

WriterrNig:Africans and their shallow mindset. So because of all the substandard roads and rail projects Chinese are constructing with their high interest loans, you consider them a better ally than United States. Without US, polio would still be killing people in Africa. Without the US, Malaria would still be killing people in their numbers. Without the US, Aids would still be a death sentence. Let me stop here. 2 Likes |

xevove2061: Some of these things are just basics. Even Lagos is not yet at the global standard so it's not a question of being a major city. Lagos just has forward-thinking governors while others who even want to try at all may content themselves with building flyovers and such that I would call eye-service infrastructure. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Omo with the kind of traffic witnessed on Friday, these buses will certainly run out of charge often on the road and causing more traffic and misery. We are not there and ready for EV buses yet until things are in place |

WriterrNig: China is yet to achieve what the West did in Africa, both in building and looting But it's little by little, they'll get there What you're doing is like advertising a new Ponzi scheme as if it's not gonna crash at the end, like say they no go carry your money run Who told you China doesn't have a military base in Africa? They finished one in 2017 in Djibouti and would probably do more, their move is cunning, slow but steady Continue celebrating the Greek gifts and perpetual indebtedness, history often repeat itself in fools |
