Amigoss:Tuface is old school already. There is this refreshing vibe that comes with youngies and newbies..that relegate oldheads ..no matter how hard they try. That's exactly what's happening. You can't be relevant forever. There will come a time every attention will shift to the new comers. 1 Like 1 Share |

liveLongNprospa: The ban has always been there but they didn't enforce it. Maybe it's now they want to enforce it. Pre 2022, if you buy a car above 10 years, you have to pay a bribe of 20-50k to clear it at the port because it's underage. In 2022, they brought out another rule that says all cars below 2013 must pay the same duty as a 2013 vehicle. Even if you buy a 2000 corolla, you will pay the same duty as someone buying a 2013 corolla. I had just imported a car at the time and the initial budget I got to clear it was 900k. By the time the vehicle arrived, the new clearing rate had started and I was billed 2.2m . I wan mad but I had no choice. Leaving it at the port will only accumulate more demurrage. This one they want to effect the ban, I suspect it may be related to subsidy. Let's take the ability to buy vehicles out of the reach of most people and reduce the daily consumption of petrol. If our consumption goes down, subsidy goes down I may be wrong sha . Just some wild thoughts |

Am currently watching the series "THE SUPER CUP" Many things go behind the scenes in the football ⚽ industry.. The kind of politics in international football holds no rival.. Once in a while, it's entertaining to watch the big guys fight amongst themselves |

In a lawsuit filed by former Alpha Beta MD, Dapo Apara, he had alleged that Alpha Beta paid N500m ($2.7m at the time) to some "Aranda Resources" in 2015. Bloomberg now reports that Seyi Tinubu owns Aranda resources Some of you will not see heaven🤣🤣 2 Likes

liveLongNprospa: These days, you can't buy any decent toks car below 5-6m. With the ban and further increase in clearing cost, we may be looking at a minimum of 7m to buy a toks car. That brings me to something else, will I use 7m to buy a Lexus es350 or the Innoson car Izu shared. I'm sure you know the answer |

Benefits of liquid silicone molding There are several benefits of liquid silicone molding, including: High precision: Liquid silicone molding is a highly accurate and precise process that can produce complex and detailed parts with tight tolerances. This is because the liquid silicone material can flow into even the smallest and most intricate areas of the mold. Consistency and repeatability: The liquid silicone molding process is highly controlled, which ensures consistency and repeatability in each part produced. This makes it ideal for high-volume production runs. High strength and durability: The cured liquid silicone rubber is highly resistant to heat, cold, chemicals, and other environmental factors. This makes it ideal for producing parts that require high strength and durability. Overall, the benefits of liquid silicone molding make it a highly versatile and cost-effective process for producing high-quality, complex parts for a wide range of applications.

BTW the electrical buses LASG bought? Which electricity will they use to power them? Coz it's not like the state has excess electricity to use normally. So where will they get the needed one and will it affect residents and other businesses? 1 Like |

izzou: My issue with Lagos state government with all these buses they acquire since the advent of BRT is maintenance . Once they commission the buses and start using them, less than a year the buses are almost always not in good shape. I just hope the electric buses don’t follow suit |

izzou:IPP is using gas right? Also if you have to use a generator to charge them, what's the point of talking clean energy? |

izzou:Why will you want to use diesel generator to power electric buses, the entire SIM have been destroyed |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:00pm On May 02, 2023 |
BlueRayDick: They will follow suit. For me, you can be running those buses and charge the same thing that Danfo drivers with 1970 model buses are changing. There is no way the books can be balanced I have said it here that it is possible those BRTs are just to siphon monies, because i struggle to see how they balance their books Let me not even get started with the reckless driving and handling of the vehicles I am not sure you can find any BRT with Air conditioning today. Na the same thing go happen to these buses. 609 naira with AC from Ikorodu to TBS is not feasible, IMO |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:01pm On May 02, 2023 |
liveLongNprospa: Yeah. Gas It is still clean energy. Instead of running 50 engines, you are running one to power 50. |

When you are asked to use your head an exist outside what gawat posts it will seem like an impossible thing. What is the source of the power oando is using.. Is it electricity or was it initially gotten from gas? If its gotten from gas, wouldn't it have been more efficient to just use gas to power the buses? Egbin power plant supplies electricity to lagos state at barely half its capacity. It would make better sense to use gas to power those buses. The idea isn't bad at all just the efficiency is what I'm questioning you dolt 3 Likes |
