A Former Resident On The Street Said The Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) Had Given Prior Notice About The Demolitions Of The Buildings As A Result Of It Been Situated On A Federal Pipeline.


However, Some Spokesmen Of Igbo socio-cultural organization in Nigeria, Ohaneze Ndigbo Who Were On A Fact-Finding Mission Disclosed That The Exercise Was Not Carried Out To Target Any Particular Tribe Unlike The Misleading Information Been Spread On Social Media.
