Keeping eternity in view

Christians should always keep eternity, at the center of all actions, thoughts and aspirations. This is crucial, for one to escape from carnality, godlessness and inordinate ambition and all its wild tentacles.

A clear focus about the fact that all mortals are on a pilgrimage, will surely help one not to easily forget that heaven is the eternal home of the Faithful.

The words of Apostle Paul, prior to his transition, vividly captured this theme.

“The time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

Please it will be highly beneficial to take some time and reflect on these eternal words. They are constant reminders that this earth is a preparatory ground.

Mores the coming of Jesus is at hand. Are you prepared to meet him just now? If not, kindly welcome him into your life. Submit to him in prayer. Allow him to be your personal Lord and saviour. This decision is pivotal to salvation and entry into heavenly bliss. Shalom
