I took a boy to circle to buy a laptop back then, on getting there, we met a Nigerian showing us the laptops he has, after negotiating, the guy bought one from the Nigerian and we left.

That same laptop only work for just 1 day, calling the guy to complain, except if he's going to pick his call tomorrow..

That's just one of the examples. I spent reasonable years in Ghana before moving on so I know what I am talking about

Still you cant provide evidence that the attacked Naija hair vendor was selling fake products

See, I've been in the busines of trade for some close to 2 decades and I can tell you that it's possible to buy same product of same quality at different prices. Quantity and negotiating powers most time help reduces the cost. Some sellers prefer to sell at cheaper rates for quick turnover

Note: I'm not trying to say some people don't sell fake products but the fact that someone prefers to sell at cheaper prices doesn't makes it fake product. There was a time I tried to sell brand new phones at a price that's around 15k - 20k cheaper than market price and some people says all sort of things but eventually it's one of those people saying negative things who eventually bought one of the phone at my office. I personally mostly buys electronics gadget like phone + laptop at reduced price because I understand the market to great extent then resell to those who will resell for profit, now if I decided to sell to direct consumer at a price I will sell to reseller, don't you think some will call me fake vendor?

Must you people always claim victims? Where in all my comments did I mention Igbo or any tribe? Should we say you people are already feeling guilty as the culprits cos I am not understanding you guys insinuation

Whatever you feel is up to you. You are almost 40.years bro. You are almost 20 years older than me. Yet I am certain before 40 I will have my own dot-com fully functional here.

Can you say the same thing with all the time you waste trolling on Nairaland?

Don't live a life of regret , use your time well. My mentor will say you can waste money or anything because you can always get them back as long as you have time. Time is the one thing you should never waste.

Grow up

What people think/feel about me is none of my business cos I am not in any position to do a shit about it.

You can only assume. I am 2 hours ahead of Nigeria, so stop that crap of living Nigeria, infact only spent 2 months in all the Buhari's presidency.

If you are blessed, be grateful without undermining others. Thinking your father's farm is the biggest is delusional cos you haven't been to other people's father's farm.

Btw, someone reading from you for the first time would think nice guy dey talk, how many monikers have you used between last week and this week to troll me? They are nothing less than 10.

Shouldn't I be the one to be trolling others if all what bunkum you assumed about me are true?

Ask yourself consciously, how many years have you been trolling me and others on this forum? When it's something all glaring on your comments history.

Go and ask people before you, I am uncrackable on this forum, propaganda, blackmailing, trolling, insults, curses are things I have gone through on this forum which make me to be one of the last man standing.

Focus more about your life, work on how to unite with your daughter which has been separated from you for years, you got lots of unhealed wounds which you need to take care of.

Lastly, na over sabi for a sloth going into marathon race with a cheetah

Are you the first on this thread to have repeated same insinuation? Are all of you not from one place?

What's the victims mentality for when I did not mention any tribe.

Let me now burst your bubble, if the trade fair actually happened around Mokola market, it's likely possible that the organizers would mostly be Yoruba's, yes Yoruba cos that's where the concentration of Yoruba's are in Ghana market.

You people's insinuation is what exactly?

They say there's a local law that forbids foreigners from engaging in petty trade in Ghana.

According to those in the know, the essence is to keep the informal sector from from foreigners and give Ghanaians jobs.

It's not about spoiling the market oga...

What is trade fair?

Is it not mostly to display wares which can be sold at cheaper rate? Which happens once in a while.

So I don't think the Nigerian selling it cheaper means the quality is inferior. Why are Ghanaians in support of the Nigerian against the market women, if her goods are inferior?
true

Club Lager Beer is sold for 11 cedis that's like 700 and the standard isn't more than our Normal Goldberg, Throphy

How Much is dere Gulder 11 cedis to 12 cedis how much is Gulder in Nigeria.....

Compare derr market with Nigeria market unless you want to lie to yourself and don't use CBN exchange rate cos CBN will never give Cedis to goan spend in Ghana you will pass through Black Market so that's how things work....

If a Ghanaian Brings dere currency to Nigeria he will surely get value for his money than taking Naira to Ghana...

The amount I bought my Hisense 42inch smart TV is the same amount you will get an Hisense Ordinary TV 42inch with Satellite dish inbuilt..

Wait, you are yet to get it, so a group of people from Ghana who has been living in Nigeria for years can organize a trade fair at Alaba market without involving any Nigerians and still sell the products at cheap price.

How does that sound?

If they get the necessary permit from government, yes they can

Most Africans are socialist in nature pretending to practice capitalism is just foolishness

I have studied Nigeria only Igbos ,most part of Bendel and few sub tribe in akwa cross are capitalist reason we reason alike

Ijaws ,Yorubas and most tribes down south are socialist in nature and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that

No statistics here and evidence based conclusion

You are saying non citizens can organize a trade fair about a specific product without involving the locals?

What stopped them from making collaboration with the locals before organizing the trade fair?

Would the locals open their eyes and allowed non citizens to fall the price of wigd in Ghana?

Make some of you people try to be considerate

The Chinese that are in Nigeria crashing the prices of there goods more than local produced own nko.

Have Nigerian producers cried out like this?

That's why I laugh at the so called inter African trade treaty

Africans are completely very backward when it comes to business, and it's a very big pity

That's why imf economic growth for the year 2023 puts
the whole of Asia having 70%
China 37%
India 17%
Indonesia 4.4%

African continent 4% the least for economic growth lesser than Indonesia a country

It's a very big pity
You see this African continent will remain very backward if nothing is done next 100years

A very big shame

Well, they have reaped the consequences of their actions. A foreigner in another country is still a foreigner. You abide by the rules, pay the necessary dues and still be grateful that you are allowed sales. Being a foreigner in another country is NOT A RIGHT. IT IS A PRIVILEGE. Enough with the victim mentality. Live by the rules.

Helinues I no support you for this one. The treaty that sets up ECOWAS allows for free exchange of goods and services across the borders. These West African countries have been living off Nigeria since that treaty was signed in 1975.

What's wrong if we also seize the opportunities offered by that treaty and market our goods?

The Igbos will say, " Beta suya beta suya na aru nama "...." Cut suya cut suya na cow body dey suffer am "

It will shock you that same government people that collected your money are the same people sponsoring their people against the Nigerians

But why must you go and retail in another man's country, can't you be a major dealer and allow the Ghanaians to retail?

So your small brain told you that only nationals of a country can organise trade fairs and do business in the country. Olodo! Foreign companies in Nigeria from Spar, MTN, Teckno and Toyota that organize trade fairs are what? Some of you need your phone's seized because you'd just be typing without thinking
