According to Lalong, who was also the Director General of Tinubu’s Presidential Campaign organisation, their push for a southern presidency was rather in order to promote the unity, peace and stability of Nigeria within the spirit of fairness, equity and justice which the late Premier of the Northern Region, Sir Ahmadu Bello, stood for... This is the greatest truth, and anyone who understands Nigeria well would totally agree with these northern governor's view of the situation. The question then becomes: Is Tinubu presidency going to unite Nigeria, especially in light of his many controversies particularly the legitimacy of his emergence? The answer is a resounding NO. 77 Likes 5 Shares |

Majority of Nigerians didn't want Tinubu to be President. It's not really about the North. It's more about INEC than anything else. The End. For those quoting me to drag how Tinubu got 8m votes in this sham of an election, I'm sorry for your loss. You really think It's all OBIdients right? Pull out your calculator. Well over 60% of Nigerians didn't vote Tinubu going by the fraudulent results announced; it'll dwindle more when the real results are considered. If you consider 30+% the Majority of Nigerians then, Goodluck 21 Likes 3 Shares

Look at this mumu, he delivered his state for LP. Now, he's talking trash to those who care to listen. Didn't we know the northern govs who were seriously working for the emergency of Tinubu even before it came to voting by the delegates? 13 Likes 3 Shares |

Meaning they don't believe in him but of course the gavvy bullion van money is too lusty to resist. Any wonder Nasir El-Rufai once allegedly said "I can't be deputy to a drug baron......."? 7 Likes |

HIGHESTPOPORI: It is not really about same faith or different faiths tickets, it is about individual candidates. Obi is not known to be unifier going by his antecedents. He deported northerners living in Anambra state back to the north. He sacked non indigenes working in Anambra state civil service. Those are the things we need to look at. Tinubu has Christians in his family, that's enough for him to protect the interests and rights of the Nigerian Christians 42 Likes 5 Shares |

Nigerians knew this before. Power shift to the south was the basis. Buhari wanted osibanjo to be president but when atiku emerged as pdp candidate, that changed apc calculation. I will say it was destiny that made him president elect. I still surprise till today that he could reach that stage in politics. I believe he is also will be in amazement what God has done for him. The main factor here is buhari. He allowed him to win. Buhari is great man with great mind. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Equity, justice and fairness you say Mr Lalong? May such half baked equity, justice and fairness be given to you and all supporters of this injustice by God and nature. May the forces of nature that controls the affairs of mankind on earth treat you all with the same type of justice, equity and fairness in everything you and your supporters do 1 Like |

Lol! Them don dey change mouth small small as reality begin to wade in. It was Ganduje that was quoted to have said that “no one knows who would be president at this time”. Now, Lalong is also saying they didn’t really want Tinubu. Why are they beginning to deny Agbado? 7 Likes |

Lalong is an idiot, and a fool, for revising a divisive and ethnically bigoted person as a promoter of unity, peace and justice. The tribes of Plateau were addressed as "arne" by Ahmadu Bello. Does Lalong not know what arne is? 9 Likes 1 Share |

Come to think of it, if the country is divided into 6 different regions shey everybody would have a "president" from his/her region always. If na so presidency dey hungry everybody then let's have it done already. 3 Likes |

The truth is that the power that be in Nigeria wanted a free and fair election to some extent but when Obi tsunami started in the South and North Central Nigeria with some North Eastern States such as Taraba, significant number of Adamawa, Gombe etc, signal to stop Obi came into play. Allowing Atiku to win would also unite the South which will be a threat to the North. The best bet was to allow Tinubu to emerge as the winner. I think Tinubu is a man of destiny whether any one likes it or not. He emerged against the preference of the power that be. 6 Likes 1 Share |

maasoap: No. He lost out completely! Some permutations brokered were not matched, and things went awry for Plateau APC. Though few resonated with him, but ethnic bigots on the Plateau also played a major cause to see the Governor out. He even lost his Senatorial election. Gov. Simon Bakr Lalong was dedicated to the cause of winning the election for APC! 2 Likes 1 Share |
