What can cause a generator to
off after working for 30 mins or thereabouts and there is oil in gen?

Gptech, please I need your input.
My gen usually carries my ac and fridge when I bought it but it had some issue when it started taking too much oil so I had to change the piston ring after I called someone to fix it. Now, I've recently found out that it cannot carry my ac and fridge at once any more. When I turn both on, it starts making noises that suggests you turn it off and lights in the room starts twitching. What could lead to this?

Oh you remember when I bought the gen?
The frequency reading is between 45-46. I just checked without any load

Gptech:

That's way too low without load, means running speed is too low. Increase it to around 52.5 without load. After loading ensure its not less than 50.

I just got this used generator - Birla Yamaha, and it keeps blowing up several appliances.

Extension, chargers all burnt.

The power it delivers is so great that the bulbs and fan runs at higher brightness and speed than even PHCN electricity.

I know the problem of the gen is too high frequency by the previous owner. By tightening a certain screw.

However I don't know where to find this screw and loosen on this particular gen.

Please I need help oo ever since I change my carburetor for elepaq generator 2kva my 5litre fuel no dey last pass 8 hours am thinking ylits consuming too much fuel it should be able to last 10hours abi I don't know what I am saying. The carburetor is rich he turns plug to black when I put it off I hear the squit sound like the combustion is incomplete. The gen don tire me sef. Though its up to 10 years old

Yes it should last up to 10 hours depending on load. I hope you have not increased the load recently, otherwise you can call the tecnhnician to help you adjust the carb.

The esr is electric and remote start while the es is just electric start. Can't tell the exact market value but expect to spend nothing less than ₦500,000.
