I feel you! It is a shame it was killed but it is not in its natural habitat, so it might have perished anyway...

The sad part is that the Indian Bussard is an endangered species with just a few hundreds left in the Indian sub continent. The place for it would have been a Zoo aviary but I don't expect that from farmers in remote areas...

That's a bearded african vulture and not a "Kori Bustard", it feeds off rotten corpses animal & human. You will most likely fall ill after consuming it.

P.s Kor Bustards are largely flightless so it would be impossible for it to fly such a distance and land in Nigeria
