What does that tell you? The fact that we have supporters of such a character is mind boggling. No interview to share plans. No debate to scrutinize plans. On what basis do supporters then cheer such an aberration? I know in Naija, right is left and up is down, but has it really gotten to this point? The upside-down world were a candidate is barely even put up to scrutiny for a job that is of paramount importance! Less interview questions for a top position than for a driver or maid? Wow, just Wow!!! 7 Likes 1 Share |

To employ house boy, they will interview and interview, can you do this, can you do that, and ask for this and that, mother’s location, brothers wife sons location, bla bla bla. However, to employ the man for the topmost job in the country, they’re like, “We don’t need interview na abeg, shebi it’s his turn , let him just enter, then next will enter from this tribe, then next...” Has the mental capacity of Nigerians soo eroded? Some will still have the heart to tell me that interview is not needed. I just don’t get why we bastardize ourselves so much in this country. The followers know they are heading towards doom, but they are all so happy, taking the journey to the abyss with such glee and exuberance! Naija really is the theater of the absurd, and there are so many shows playing were anomalies are given cloaks of normalcy! 5 Likes |

There is a loud minority of corrupt minded, selfish, bigoted and ignorant Nigerians but the people who want change are more than them in number The problem is that it’s easy to make 23 votes become 2,300 votes on paper with no consequences. Criminals commit crimes and enjoy their lives, no questions asked. 5 Likes |

Never4getU: If me crying, means your children will also cry, is that a deal you’re ready to make? I’m sure it is, cause your type seems to care not for the human condition in Nigeria. So today I cry about no electricity I cry that I can’t get government water I cry that in an emergency, I can’t call 911 .... Will your child me immune to these things and more that make me cry? Or will you disown your child? Swearing allegiance instead to the wicked hearts that made me cry? Because you are completely devoid of love in your heart? So when your child is crying “daddy, daddy, I’m hot, there is no light” You will tell him/her to CRY HARDER You will tell him/her to WAIL ON!! You will tell him/her that it was daddy that fought for the continued suffering of his people. All the scared and frightened little child will be able to say is YES DADDY 7 Likes |

PoliticalUpdate: I know right. Meanwhile some people right now are studying their asses off prepping for a job interview tomorrow. Some might even pull all-nighters Yet some people don’t put even a minuscule amount of value on interviews when it comes to politicians, that have access to resources and policies that can shape the very future of the country in which they reside, for better or worse. 2 Likes |

VaselineCrew: I know you are just looking for unnecessary argument to trend your post so let me humor you. The person you are referring to attended campaign Rallies where his plans were laid out. They also presented their manifestos to the public and held town hall meetings with a cross section of people for interactions. Because they did not appear in front of one biased journalist tbat means they did not 'interview' for the job. Pathetic. 7 Likes 1 Share |

When a man has a legacy that can speak for him, he learns to keep quiet and watch his victory unfold. Many of us who followed politics and governance since the 90's, bore witness to Tinubu's capacity to deliver in a multicultural Nigeria. It is no one's fault that you do not remember Tinubu had a manifesto that was widely circulated and defended on many media and public events. The problem is that you believed your own lie too much. You believed he is a terminally sick invalid. You believed he is a drug dealer. You believed he has no certificate. You believed he did not work in the places he claimed. You believed he would be disgraced in the APC primary. You believed the North would betray him. You believed he would lose the election. All because you put your hope on a fraudulent political prostitute and desperate ticket hunter who was not academically sound, nor did he grow the economy of his state as well as his predecessor or successor. You caused your own delusion that lead to your eventual agony, so now you despair. 7 Likes 1 Share

Sangoamadioha1: Rally is attended by rented crowd and not enough to determine the reliability of the candidate. A debate is an opportunity to weigh the candidates against one another. I mean if a character like Buhari who was an infamous military dictator and was among the worst military Head of states in Nigeria could enjoy 8 years of power again in a democratic clime, then that tells you everything you need to know about Nigeria. Tinubu knew he could arrogantly dismiss the process of public scrutiny by not engaging in national debates and granting interviews, he knew he could get away with all the red flags he displayed throughout his campaign like the verbal miscues, unintelligible and discordant statements and countless gaffes that made for internet entertainment...while you were mocking Tinubu and hoping Nigerians weren't foolish enough to vote a man who was clearly showing signs of mental and physical deterioration, not forgetting his drug cases with top media outlets even reporting/confirming his involvement. Tinubu was laughing back at us because he knew he had long prepared to steal and seize power by any means possible, he wasn't joking when he said "E mi lokan"...now we see how the INEC Chairman, CJN, Wike and several key members of govt are in his pocket. As they say in street parlance, money talks and bullshit happens. Tinubu paid his dues long before election started by paying off everyone who stood in his way to Aso rock. But you've got to give it to Tinubu, hate him or love him, what you can't take away from him is his ruthless manner of playing politics, the man was born for this. Unfortunately just like he has turned Lagos into his personal empire, he's about to turn Nigeria into his Mega empire of criminality by finessing all his loyalist into strategic positions of power. That's why the SE need to wake up and start filtering out those sell-outs among our leadership rank and files who will be used by Tinubu to sell our region, fifth columnist charlatans like Uzodinma etc need to be stamped out of power in the South East by all means necessary as the gubernatorial election approaches this November for a start. It's time we tighten our hold on the SE by electing only leaders who are IGBO first before anything else, those are the legislators that should represent is in the national assembly and HOR. 1 Like |

tonytony208: How do you know that the rally crowd was rented A debate is not the only way to pass your message across. The choice of how to pass your messages across is plenty and he chose the ones suitable. Since he won that means his message was well received.
