BronzeTiger:I think you need to go by champions league performance from semi final to rate each league in the last ten years and I want to say EPL still number one and very competitive though Man city remains a team to beat…oh Seria A was damn too poor for some years back but this year we saw three Italian teams in quarter finals and now two in semi final which showed improvement…..mind you Napoli already crowned league champion but Man city still has Arsenal trailing closely and check out fierce battles in EPL last seven teams trying to survive relegation. 2 Likes |

Kog45:Arsenal is coached by pep's former assistant at Manchester city Arteta. He still sold jesus and zinchenko to them. That's to show you how one team is monopolizing a competitive league currently. With all the competition in the champions league liverpool and Chelsea are the last English teams to win it since Chelsea in 2012. When they meet real madrid they mostly crumble except for Chelsea in 2021. Relegation battles are also in every top 5 leagues till the last day. It's not only accustomed to the English premier league. 2 Likes |

Destroyed Chelsea when at Lille. Destroyed Leicester City. Took him just 45 minutes to dismantle Liverpool. What drug are you on? Napoli doesn't need the return leg cos they have already topped the group. So what da hell you dey yarn! Can't just fathom what Oshimen will do to those shit defenders. lol! Ordinary Isak is using them to chase clout. lol! komekn: 1 Like 1 Share |

Kog45: I don't understand the point. Are you saying I did not watch Zidane? I watched the very best of Zidane. Watched him for Juventus. Watched him for France. How many here shouting Zidane even knew he was not key in the France 98 tourney? The fact is that not here, including those in the sports section have not watched De Bruyne like me. I have watched about 99% of every match De Bruyne played for Manchester City. He is insane. When you people say you don't believe in stats, what you believe in? Graciousness, leg overs, and flicks of the ball. The reason why you guys want to avoid stats, is because it clearly flaws your argument. |

Komekn your ability to baffle has no limit. Why did you delibrately ignore my second paragraph African American men. Plus mentioning Nigerian players who married from home still doesn't negate my point I can still call Oliseh, Amokachi, John Utaka, Tijani Babanginda, Osaze Odemwingie to buttress my point. komekn: |

Marjoribanks: There is football fanaticism bordering on delusionals obsession, particularly when you anchor ⚓ your entire assertion on the performance of one player VO not the the team. How many goals did VO that dismantled Liverpool home and away score please ❓ A few photos to show how he dismantled at the time a Liverpool FC team in disarray struggling for form and consistency. A picture they say says a thousand words Can you see👀👀 how VO is putting poo 💩 all over those s****y defenders as you call them 1 Like 1 Share

chrisooblog: The first assertion you made qualified your entire write up. I quoted you verbatim and in your second response you became specific to Nigerian football players. The reference to African American men is an insignificant appendage that expands the initial misguided assertion to make it more general. Nothing more to say . |

BronzeTiger:Stop typing nonsense. How many other leagues have produced more different winners than Epl clubs in the champions league over the last ten years? How many other leagues have produced more finalists than Epl over the last ten years as well( Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester city and Chelsea). Epl produced two champions league finalists in 2018/2019 and 2020/2021. If not for Madrid carrying and saving La Liga in the champions league you will not be here typing nonsense. 4 Likes |

Amedino99: Forward players are very poor and or expired. Midfield apart from Tilesman and Maddox are not top quality. Defence is not quality. Brendan Rodgers worked miracles with that team. My perfunctory view is that Liecester City spent no MONEY to improve the squad. Particularly to replace quality the players they sold or lost. |

De Bruyne is a player I like as a thorough Chelsea fan I was like what a hell with Mourinho not believing in De Bruyn. My Oga stats or no stats De Bruyne would be happy seeing your comparisons with Zinedine Zidane.Hope to see him doing it for Belgium just like Zidane did for France then we can talk who is better. 3 Likes |

Trevor012:EPL issue is like hating on iPhone but I keep on asking people but why always iphone….most players love coming to EPL but some would still tell me EPL is overrated…..**FACT about life when people talk about you in a mocking way then you are important. Awoniyi had a brace yesterday,to some EPL is overhyped.Imagine telling me Haaland will find it hard to score 20 goals in Napoli team in Seria A that Ademola Lookman has 14 goals.Even Simmy Neamkwo had 20 goals in 2020-2021 season equaled Samuel Eto 2010-2011 record in Seria A. I will not rate Osimehn cuz of his Napoli feat cuz he is born scorer that anytime any day in any top three leagues he would does it with ease. 1 Like |

Trevor012:Real madrid is doing it in the champions league. Sevilla is doing it in the europa league. We've had a Milan vs Juventus final this 21st century. Real madrid vs Valencia. Real madrid vs atletico madrid two times so that doesn't hold water. You can't tell me the most competitive league in the world has a champion who's favourite to win their fifth premier league crown in six years. That same club don't have a single champions league trophy. That hasn't happened anywhere recently except for Germany. There were 21 goals scored in three premier league matches yesterday. If it happened in germany or france you will be quick to quickly tag them farmers league but as long as it's england it's good. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by BronzeTiger: 12:31pm On May 09, 2023 |
Osimhen would ease himself into the kick and run football of the premier league since he has two of their main features. Strength and pace. He's also very dominant in the air like drogba so I don't read much obstacles for him. He would take into england like a duck to water. |

BronzeTiger:You are typing out of point and more nonsense. Wetin concern us with Europa and Madrid vs Valencia that happened more than 20years ago. We are talking about the last ten champions league season like that guy told you about. The last ten years Epl has produced more champions league finalists than any other league, more champions league semi finalists than any other league as well. Produced 2 seasons of the champions league finalist coming from England. Madrid is the only carrying that dead league called La Liga In the champions league. Name the other league who performed better than Epl over the last ten years in the champions league. Man city is not doing anything Man united haven't done in the past. Even at that epl still has 4 different leagues winners since the 2015/2016 season. 4 different league winners in 7 seasons. Man you are typing nonsense. 2 Likes |
