EPL issue is like hating on iPhone but I keep on asking people but why always iphone….most players love coming to EPL but some would still tell me EPL is overrated…..**FACT about life when people talk about you in a mocking way then you are important.

Awoniyi had a brace yesterday,to some EPL is overhyped.Imagine telling me Haaland will find it hard to score 20 goals in Napoli team in Seria A that Ademola Lookman has 14 goals.Even Simmy Neamkwo had 20 goals in 2020-2021 season equaled Samuel Eto 2010-2011 record in Seria A.

I will not rate Osimehn cuz of his Napoli feat cuz he is born scorer that anytime any day in any top three leagues he would does it with ease.
Egbon daadaa my inlaw, how is Kehinde doing sir? Is she still in 9ja or outside Nigeria too? And finally is she married yet? I dey find second wife o.

You are typing out of point and more nonsense. Wetin concern us with Europa and Madrid vs Valencia that happened more than 20years ago. We are talking about the last ten champions league season like that guy told you about. The last ten years Epl has produced more champions league finalists than any other league, more champions league semi finalists than any other league as well. Produced 2 seasons of the champions league finalist coming from England. Madrid is the only carrying that dead league called La Liga In the champions league. Name the other league who performed better than Epl over the last ten years in the champions league.

Man city is not doing anything Man united haven't done in the past. Even at that epl still has 4 different leagues winners since the 2015/2016 season. 4 different league winners in 7 seasons. Man you are typing nonsense.
You are talking of the past 10 years but when we go 20 years back on real madrid valencia is where you are drawing the line but you are talking to me about manchester united's epl dominance which happened in the 90s and early 2000s. With all the semifinals and finals appearances it is not only three premier league teams that have won the champions league since we started the 2000s? Real madrid carrying la liga is not a reason why most of the top premier league teams fall when they meet them.

Mr man shut up and stop typing nonsense. The person you replied to Below made it clear he was talking about the last ten years in the champions league yet mofo keeps mentioning Things that happened 20years ago.

Kog45:
I think you need to go by champions league performance from semi final to rate each league in the last ten years and I want to say EPL still number one and very competitive though Man city remains a team to beat…

The most dominant league In the last ten years of the champions league remains Epl. There's a reason they are number 1 in Uefa ranking.

Manchester city are not doing anything new in the league. Manchester United did even better yet Epl still has 4 different league winners in the last 7 seasons. If arsenal wins it will be 5 in 8 or 4 in 8 if Manchester city wins this season.

This is a real problem, bro. I think rich black men from poor backgrounds see white women as status symbols just like iphones, yachts or sports cars. To them, white women are exotic creatures and symbols of their "arrival" into the world of wealth and success.

The painful part is that most of those white women would never have looked their way if they were just average or poor blokes.

Rich white men would almost NEVER go for a black woman especially if the woman in question is not wealthy and established in her own right or from a famous family.

So, rich black men want white women. Rich white men also want white women. Black women are now the leftovers abandoned for the average/broke dudes to eat.

Colonialism really damaged our collective mindset as a race.

Cc. Curtisaxel10
It makes us look at though we are inferior and have no pride or self respect. There are so many beautiful and well behaved black girls to choose from. The funny thing is these white chics are not as endowed as the black women.

Like you rightly said, I believe its colonial mentality and lack of proper enlightenment of the black man.

Don't think only you can set the limit of the years being talked about. I just checked your comments and saw you are a manchester united fan. You see, we Africans are not civilized. We have lost civilization in its essence.
For example, most Nigerians believe that inventing things is for Europeans and not Africans.
A girl once told me this "We don't invent things, we live that for the Europeans and Americans"
when i told her that i wrote a book about a black inventor.
Also, Africans don't even think in terms of psychology, philosophy etc.
Our forefathers were animists who worships idols and not philosophers and scientists.
Culturally, the forefathers of White people are people like Rene Descartes, Isaac Newton,
Plato etc while our forefathers are witches and wizards that left us with ignorance, illeteracy and wickedness.
We Africans dont even understand what education is and only read to pass exams.
Also, we do not understand how to discover the talent of our children or apply psychology to child rearing or education.
Our minds are still primitive.
Even Nigerians with money still have a backward mindset.

To buttress my points and the multi-dimensionality of African backwardness with Nigeria as a case point

1. A lot of Nigerian ladies still bleach their skins which is inferiority complex, confusion and madness
2. In church the prayer goes like this, "God all the witches, wizards and idols in my fathers house, deliver me from them"
Which buttresses the point that our forefathers were superstitious folks who left us with emptiness and illeteracy
3. We cannot conceptualize the world in the modicum of modern intellectual thought. We are very mechanical, confused
and copy everything the white man does.

FURTHER THOUGHTS

Africans seem not to have a scientific, rational and philosophical world view
In fact, a researcher said
'"The African thought system has been adjudged irrational because according to Bruhl,
it is insensitive to the rules of formal logic as formulated by Aristotle"
If you ask the average African congent reasons about anything he will not be able to give
a rational answer.
For example, if you ask a Nigerian why in his or her tribe some families (such as Osu in Igbo)
are treated badly, he or she cannot give a rational explanation from history.
We dont have a rational mindset.
AFRICANS GREW UP WITH CULTURE AND RELIGION
EUROPEANS OPERATE WITH SCIENCE AND PHILOSOPHY
SCIENCE AND PHILOSOPHY PROMOTE
a rationality
b questioning assumptions
c innovations
while religion and culture promote doing thins without thinking
and lack of innovation cause you do anything without changing them

I WILL SAY MORE LATER.

Cc.Philosopher1979

Very cerebral take my brother. It beats my imagination the way an average African thinks and the line of logic. We are simply too superstitious and never had a scientific way of arriving at a solution. Like you said we have lost civilization and our knowledge of our past is shrouded in mysteries because we don't even care to research it scientifically.

My wife actually believes Jesus is white....I feared for my children

Its nice to talk like that but the present day African exhibits traits of backwardness and ignorance.
In fact, i know a lawyer who told me that science is the black man's witchcraft.
The real life experience and mental reality of Nigerians sound backward.
I mean common things of life are incomprehensible to us.
In fact, we think introverts are not normal
The average Nigerian does not know the difference between an introvert or an extrovert
A lot of nollywood films are full of people visiting a babalawo and end with a pastor shouting deliverance.
We lack intellectual sophistication.
The stuff we got from Egypt or Timbuktu is lost.
We cant connect with it
AS PER OUR CULTURAL HERITAGE
You see, it is the white man that teaches us our language
Yes, it is the white man that makes us to understand our culture
because the white man tells us our history and culture
We are just ideological non-identities
Abeg the present day African is just there

The coming of Christianity dealt a devastating blow to our society and the confidence we had in the system.

An African believe he can actually destroy your fortune by going to the native doctor. It's the backwardness for me. We behave like inferior humans.

Someone was threatening to destroy me with juju and I wondered how they are going to achieve such lofty goals...its pathetic

"Rich black men from poor backgrounds"

That's the demographic that you identified to quote you verbatim.

You have changed the narrative and specifically have identified Nigerian/ African players.

Remember I said to your it's the exception and not the rule.

Selecting playeers from the Utaka, Nsofor, Mikel era
1. Yobo
2. Enyeama
3. Yakubu
4. Ikechukwu Uche
5. Anichebe
6. Obagol
7. Ahmed M.
8. Moses V.
9. Shittu
10. Elderson
11.ldeye
12.Taiwo

Etc ,etc

I will not go into the more recent era of players.

You at essentially VERY WRONG and misguided in your assumptions.

I am speaking in the generality of the black athlete around the world not necessarily Nigeria. The English black players, American , Canadians. There seems to be a preference for white girls.

If you've followed the argument from the beginning you would have seen where we've been arguing about it's competitiveness not it's position as number 1 so I won't go back to explain to you. Sevilla thrashed you with your record so what's the essence if you are no longer in the competition? Your top 3 premier league teams were beaten by real madrid. I can't recall the last time that has happened in the champions league. Even their second participant that has fallen off barca has more champions league trophies than everybody except liverpool. You can't be claiming most competitive league today when a club is about to have 5 titles in 6 years. The contender is even a former assistant coach of that team.

1. Ladies Bleaching their skin or wanting to be lighter has nothing to with inferiority complex. You that speak English more than your native language is that inferiority complex? You that supports an English club is that inferiority complex? You that prefers foreign made goods than locally produced ones is that inferiority complex?.

2. Even In America and Europe they also pray against evil spirits and people.

3. You want Africa to remain in the dark and not copy things from an advanced society? If they give you Visa to leave Nigeria to America today won't you jump on the first available plane.

A lady was celebrating on Facebook the other day that a tree was struck by lightning in her village. According to her, this tree was responsible for the economic stagnation of her family for generations.

I was shocked because the lady in question studied abroad for her First degree and Masters and is currently based in the U.S.

With all her exposure and education, she still reasons like a primitive cave man. How will Africa progress?

My Oga stats or no stats De Bruyne would be happy seeing your comparisons with Zinedine Zidane.Hope to see him doing it for Belgium just like Zidane did for France then we can talk who is better.

Zidane could miss playing two full games and get a red card in another match in a tournament and still win the world cup. The French team were stellar. Give de Bruyne the likes of Lizarazu, Thuram, Petit, Dugarry and others and see him remake history.

Remember France could drop the likes of Cantona, Ginola. Vieira, Henry, Trezeguet, Ba, Lama on the bench. That was how stellar the French team was.

Christianity dealt a devastating blow to your society? Do you know the devastating war our fore fathers fought with the fulani (Islamic land grabbers) after the capture of Ilorin before the British came to our rescue and brought the religion of peace (Christianity)? You all should be thankful to Christianity. Christ brought peace, healing and salvation. Never was a passage where he killed anyone rather he raised people from the dead, forgives sin, provides for the needy and preach love. How does that devastate a society? Do you know those that stopped kuruji war?

oga that French team that won 1998 World Cup had no renowned player but made their names at the World Cup proper

Zizou as of then was beginning to find he’s feet at juventus after a season or 2 joining from bordeux, the likes of lizarazu, pires, trezeguet, Henry were in ligue 1 with marseille, bordeux and Monaco respectively

Djorkaef was a bench warmer at inter same as viera at Milan, petit was in arsenal then if I’m correct, thuram, and blanc with Parma and inter.

Deschamp was a regular at juve while dessailly was with Milan

The world class player they had then was man United’s Eric Cantona who was dropped because of he’s issues with the coaching crew and the French football federation

It was after the World Cup that almost every member of that squad moved to bigger clubs

The team was good but wasn’t spectacular on paper and the least tipped to win the competition

Even Henry and trezeguet were rookies then wey ikpeba Dey bench anyhow for Monaco

What do you mean?

French team were made of stars.

Was Lizarazu not a big star?

Deschamps had already won the champions league to the best of my knowledge.

Emmanuel Petit was already huge at Arsenal.

How could you make the French team then without being established.

You can say you did not know them but I knew them well.

Even the Monaco boys like Henry and Trezeguet were well established.

They did not need Zidane to excel. That was how good they were. They could drop the likes of Cantona and Ginola. Leave out Karembu and a host of big names from the starting line up and do well.

By the Euros, Zidane was playing with big names too.
