You're not listening. I said this:

Urbanization in an African context means nothing! I used Ghana vs India as a case study, you overlooked it and assumed your own debate.

Zombie. Urbanization rate has everything to do with population; so yeah! We're talking population. Nothing has changed.

Now your last paragraph is the point. That's my argument. So yeah; now I know you grasped the point. cool
there's nothing like urbanization in an African context... There's just urbanization in the general sense of what it means.

Even Indians themselves put Ghana above India because of the achievement Ghana has made on all front.

Now face your front, the chart is not about urbanization but water access and which setting has the most access.

Since you agree with his last paragraph that Kenya is not doing better than Ghana, I don't want to see you argue here on anything factual again.

Urbanization in an African context means Sprawling slums. Ghana for instance, has high urbanization as a result of poverty stretching and slumbolium spill. You can't compare the 50% of India's urbanization rate with the 50% Ghanaian urbanization rate, NO! you breeding poor people to the city, consequences? HUUUUGE SLUM RATE!

Buckle up! We need to define urbanization before we elevate this topic.

What is the concept of urbanization?
Urbanization refers to the concentration of human populations into discrete areas. This concentration leads to the transformation of land for residential, commercial, industrial and transportation purposes. It can include densely populated centers, as well as their adjacent periurban or suburban fringes

Back to population. Yes! Urbanization in this context is still urbanization. Con sequences thereafter is not the same! Urban as it's define is not different either! Tamale or takoradi in Ghana is still urban - so does Durban in SA.

The point is; this discussion serves zero purpose

Let's take the point you made into consideration.

Ghana has a lower poverty rate than India and Kenya.
Also Ghana has a lower percentage of it population living in slums than India and Kenya.
Also Ghana has a 58% urbanization rate which is more than twice that of Kenya and also higher than India.

So basically in the end you made no sense and possibly got lost along the way😂🤣

Kenya stock market cap at the moment should be around 15 Billion dollars and Safaricom alone takes over 75% of that at over 10 Billion dollars.
I think African countries generally are not big on stocks.

Here are all the market caps of the world starting from Algeria with 434 million dollars in market cap. South Africa 1.2 trillion dollars. Nigeria 64 Billion dollars.

You didn't grasp anything. Slums in Ghana is not the same with a slum in SA.

Ghana is not doing better than SA! But yeah; Ghana slum population is lower than SA and kenya; Why?
A slum in Ghana is different from a slum in kenya. There are part of Ghana which can be considered decent modern town but in kenya or SA; they are uncouth shambolic areas(----SLUMS-----).

So in a nutshell; your point is Null and void.

SA is in the equation because it's the reason why this topic is existing in the first place. So if we have to be realistic; let's try logic.

Lunatic

I know you don't know this but ppp don't finance dam projects for water supply because they consider them as none viable venture unless it has a power generation capacity of more than 100MW to make money.

In France, they are viable ventures because water bills are so high and people can afford paying such high bills.

Your govt doesn't even have the money to build the pipeline networks needed to provide this service to the rest of Kenya

Kenya is the reason why this topic is up because you guys couldn't understand a simple graph that a KG kid will read successfully to you. And you guys went ahead to show us to what extent you didn't understand it.

SA is better than Ghana in water supply
Ghana is better than Kenya

You've just repeated everything I've been telling you then add a few gibberish that you peddle frequently.

SLUM RATE IS THE BONE OF CONTENTION! -----TOPIC AT HAND----- we need to finish one aspect before moving to the other. The recent discussion which you're yet to answer is: why do you think SA is a hellhole to Ghana going by Slum rate? I didn't ask how is Somalia better than Nigeria.... I see what you did to Nigeria over there. grin.. But that is beside the point.

Ghana cannot co-exist in the same phrase with kenya when anything development is something to go by.

Simple logic, you can't fathom. India's urbanization rate is several digits behind Ghana --- when clearly; India is miles ahead of Ghana in pretty much everything. The point here is; Urbanization rate is nothing _ especially when Ghana breeds slums in the name of it.

The ranking is still the same for slums

South Africa is better than Ghana
Ghana is better than Kenya

For water

SA is better than Ghana
Ghana is better than Kenya
Nigeria is better than Kenya
Somalia is better than Kenya

Just cause you couldn't read to understand.

You can go and argue with the world bank

I'm yet to find things that India is better than Ghana in. If an Indian hear you say that India is better than Ghana, the person might slap you. 😂🤣

Convert 1.75 trillion shillings to dollars using 130 shillings for Q1 2023 average. It's definitely not up to 15 Billion dollars.
