Okay thanks….so you think the main reason is because I don’t have up to 23m or is it because I don’t have a good explanation for the source of funds
I think a good explanation for the source of fund would help too

Hello Everyone, I have gained a lot of information here.
Please can someone Convert VISITORS VISA to STUDENT VISA while inside Canada??

my younger brother ( married ) got admission for PGD in Canada, has paid $2,200 Deposit tuition fee for September 2023 class. ( No visa yet )
But is traveling to Canada for a fully paid program , so an idea came that he can convert the Visa while there.

Please share any information that will help him Convert VISITORS VISA to STUDENT VISA .
Yes he can. When he is already on ground in Canada

Please is it still possible to apply for September intake as their school fee is quite affordable?
Applications are closed for September and January. Start checking from June for 2024 September entry

I might be wrong, but the only detail that was on the biometric slip I had was the Biometric ID number written with biro. Login to your IRCC portal, the biometric ID number is there, print it OR write it out yourself on the copy of your passport, and add with the other documents.

Thanks so much.

Passports are stamped in Abuja, that person probably doesn’t know what he/she is saying.

I eventually went to question the person today turns out my passport is at vfs since last week Friday.

Trent University is still accepting students for September intake
Please use apply board to check for available programs

Even Centennial college is accepting for Jan 2024 and Durham too
Humber college is not even opened yet for Jan 2024.

And yeah, I know NBCC is closed for September and January 2024.

Lol but the topic of discussion was specifically NBCC na.

If you have the 23m at once my dear is a big rejection but if it is in batches like 5m this month 3my next month like that it is good mind you. You can use more than one Statementof account or in a good one explain how the 23million entered for example you
Explain to them telling them that you sold one of your car or it was a gift deed to from your husband father mother brother sister along side showing he prove too.

Once you reach out to them and your medical appointment is sent to your mail, it comes with a pdf document, showing account details and how much to pay. I think you can pay when ready

Really !!!! Wow
I just told him , he is in shock. Because he is going for a family member's Wedding . The member is a Citizen ( PR to citizens )

So how easy will the process of converting from Visitor Visa to Student visa ??. Because he will just Resume the school program immediately rather than coming back to Naija for the processing of Visa again. That takes care of POF issues.

Please explain more. I will appreciate 🙏

Tejaisco:
Hello guys!!!!!! I bring you all good news from my end. My God has put a smile upon my face. I got my ppr this evening! As a third class graduate, I felt defeated in life, I didn’t know where to start from. One beautiful evening sometime late 2021, my uncle called and asked if I’d love to come to Canada, I responded yes with so much joy in my heart . Fast forward to 2022, I joined this thread...coming here every day to read about this whole visa application,
And testimonies too. I finally submitted my application on the 10th of April ( I used a RCIC agent in canada )...i have cried, couldn’t stop screaming and praising God. I can’t post my timeline here because I don’t have access to it but my agent always sent me pdf file of whatever message ( biometrics request later, medical request letter too ) I get in my application .
Here are the documents I submitted from my end:
I did upfront medical on the 28 of March
Biometrics on the 18th of April. Biometrics was passed same day
Medical request on the 2nd of May ( my agent submitted medical sheet via web form that same day,IRCC acknowledged they received on the 5th of May)
PPR and BVL 11th May
LOA from SAIT ( program is environmental technology) FALL 2023
Waec result
Bsc cert and transcript
Nysc certificate
Birth certificate
My mum’s age declarations bearing same surname with my uncle to proof ties
My mom’s change of name to my father’s
Siblings birth certificate .
Tuition deposit receipt paid from my uncle’s bank account in Canada.
Account summary from SAIT to show that I paid the non-refundable deposit .
SOP written by me because I believe I am the only one that can tell my story but my agent edited it.
Bio data page of my international passport.
I didn’t submit my statement of account because I no get shishi ( my uncle is my sole sponsor).
For the documents my uncle submitted, I don’t really know because he submitted directly to the agent.

So to everyone that has answered my questions here, may God bless you all. My brothers and sisters waiting for decisions, make Una nor worry God go do am for Una as e do am for me.
