1 naijeriya indeed. In your very eyes, this country will be converted, the issue is, you may not be alive to witness it because the process will take years and years but gradually it will creep in whatever way it wants to. 1 Like |

Racoon: While the sharia code has its credit, and by sharia I believe he means Isalmic penal code. Candid question: How has that worked to reduce criminality and corruption in states that have adopted shariah? How has that worked in measurable terms to raise standards of living and make those regions centres of development? 2 Likes |

This is all they know, religion. Put them in a place to better their life and family and the nation, instead of doing just that they'll rather delve into irrelevances like this. Nigeria is a secular state with its constitution and rules, that should be enough to keep everyone in check if he's serious about doing his job. And for crying out loud, the brain behind FRSC is wole soyinka a non-Muslim. Moreover was it sharia qualification or degree that got him the job? |

Best option is to allow every region to go and practice their own law... if you can't take me to court or police when I commit traffic offend is to amputate me? ... 9ja is never one country period |

khalling2008:Terrorist idea. Their own no pass kill, kill, kill. Go kill Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen. Use the law there. E dey important! Nigeria has it's own Constitution and has no business with any nonsensical religious law. You can't put a religious law in a secular country. Na only Muslims dey Nigeria? 🤷♂️ Why do we have the Constitution and court in place then. So you arrest someone for accidental killing and the next thing na to cut hsnd or kill. You even say mistake, what if na engine failure or other things wey no be driver's fault? Carry that dirty thing go Pakistan. It's not for here! Always want to impose una trash everywhere. 1 Like |

Lol, I bet most people commenting did not even bother to read the whole thing. As soon as they saw sharia it is a problem. From what I deduce he is talking based on his location (Bauchi). I belive majority are Muslims there and he as a "professional" in managing roads, he is probably bewildered why people don't follow simple rules and regulations, seeing some kind of very avoidable accident. Me a resident of Rivers self sometimes im bewildered why road users behave like animals. So may be he thinks if they use a law that is closer to the people "and faster in action" is going to help Ps: I'm not saying the law should be adopted or whatever, he is probably talking from a place of anger and frustration |

The best way is to split this country so they can practice their Sharia law in peace. For now Nigeria is religious diversity they can't impose such law on every one |

You will not understand the man message till you lost your loved ones to one way driver or a drunkard behind the wheel. A one way driver killed a friend in 2010, he was the first son of the family trying all his best for his younger ones to make them a better person. His death scattered the whole family till today and his three younger sisters turned to something else. 1 Like |

This is a welcome development. Drivers' recklessness is becoming something else and the currently applicable laws aren't helping matters. Let any driver hat killed recklessly be killed too or pay Diyya. 3 Likes |
