So the whole Nigerian constitution is not enough until the stupid Sharia law is enforced? How better off are those states practicing Sharia economically, socially and developmentally? 1 Like |

Although I strongly agree that stiffer laws should be put in place to check road users but then it should never have any religious inclination. That smells foul. Like some hidden agenda they're pursuing gradually. It makes no sense to use Islamic laws for a non Islamic country. We still have a very long way to go as a nation. Always walking backwards. All these because we keep recycling the same old goats into power. Those who don't want wahala should start working on changing nationality no matter how long it takes just be working towards it because these old fools are not going anywhere anytime soon. Na them siddon ontop everything and they cut across all political parties sadly |

Wagwanbrethren: Are you daft to the extent that you didn't see where he said the cause of the accident will be investigated before handing out judgment? . You even tried to twist it to suit your damn, ignorance laden narrative, if the accident is not the drivers fault then there's no punishment on him, una go just open mouth wide dey spew dust. |

khalling2008: The fact that some persons had to give a loan some religious coloration (in the name of Sukuk) is the height of national stup!dity. USA, UK, Israel, China, and banks owned by Christians have been giving our loans for development purposes from time immemorial and no one has viewed any of these loans from the viewpoint of religion or christianity. Sukuk (AKA sharia bond) can only be tolerated under a fanatical Islamic president. |

It is so pathetic to see people who you think are educated to be behaving like an illiterate. Firstly, I see people mentioning cutting of arm haba. I wouldn't blame you sha because majority of you who graduated from school were helped to write their project. So it is understandable if you are very lazy to do small research about traffic rules in Sharia law. Even this cutting of hand some people are shouting, do you even know the condition attached before the hand can amputated Please read wide so that you won't look stupid outside. In Islam, killing a person unlawfully is a capital sin. Quranic Verses Al Quran states; ”He who killed a human being without the latter being guilty of killing another or of spreading disorder in the land should be looked upon as if he killed all of mankind.” Qatl or murder of man by a man is no doubt the greatest crime of the society, it has been denounced in the Quran; “And do not kill anyone which Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause. And whoever is killed intentionally with hostility and oppression and not by mistake), We have given his heirs (wali) the authority to amend Qisas (Law of Equity in punishment) or to forgive, or to take Diyat ( Blood-money) but let him not exceed limits in the matter of taking life(i-e. he should not kill except the killer only); for he is helped by the law.” |
