Wagwanbrethren:

Terrorist idea. Their own no pass kill, kill, kill. Go kill Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen. Use the law there. E dey important!

Nigeria has it's own Constitution and has no business with any nonsensical religious law. You can't put a religious law in a secular country. Na only Muslims dey Nigeria? 🤷‍♂️

Why do we have the Constitution and court in place then. So you arrest someone for accidental killing and the next thing na to cut hsnd or kill. You even say mistake, what if na engine failure or other things wey no be driver's fault?
Carry that dirty thing go Pakistan. It's not for here! Always want to impose una trash everywhere.
It pains you but let me remind you that ipob the terrorist are killing your brother in your region too

I agree, but he said offenders will be investigated.
Even at that I still believe it should not have any religious ties to it. Laws can be fashioned to that effect. It's the reason we have the House of Representatives and the Senate. We can't be doing things backwards in an ever evolving world. The proposed Islamic law will never go down with non Islamic entities and institutions which will definitely cause more harm in future. U can't be playing with fire and expect not to get burnt. Let's try to do things the right way at all times. If not for ourselves but for the future generations to enjoy and improve on. This looks selfish with some hidden motive underneath. Ijs 🤷🏾‍♂️

Why did you n the frsc officer purposely stay away from mentioning countries like UK, USA, Canada where sharia law is not inplace n their laws r working effectively. It can be done with the right leaders, n positive minded citizens. Pls if una wan Islamized the country make we know.
Maybe you don't understand what the frsc was talking about, go back and re-read

Are you daft to the extent that you didn't see where he said the cause of the accident will be investigated before handing out judgment? .

You even tried to twist it to suit your damn, ignorance laden narrative, if the accident is not the drivers fault then there's no punishment on him, una go just open mouth wide dey spew dust.
na Nigeria Una dey no be Saudi Arabia so such nonsense rule of law that doesn't know evil politicians will not stand in this nation

The way northerners think is quite different from the way its southern counterparts do. I wonder why religion influences most of their decisions.

Let them use their sharia law to fight banditry and boko haram first.
Bunch of hell bound hypocrite.

That's a good idea but those people who believe Tinubu will Islamise the country will say otherwise. Ask them to give us any law in their religion to cater to humanity, they will not provide.

Sukuk is the Islamic bond that the federal govt used to construct some roads in this country, everybody benefited from the roads not only Muslims.

If any driver mistakenly kills anybody on the road, either the Sharia court rule to kill the driver too or the driver will pay for blood money to the relative of the deceased.
Going by this pale logic, we should start public beheadings for some crimes too, right?
We don't need a legal system invented 1600 years ago to cater to modern problems if everyone can put on their thinking cap and recommend proactive solutions instead of being intellectually lazy and resorting to religious laws.

Lol, I bet most people commenting did not even bother to read the whole thing. As soon as they saw sharia it is a problem.

From what I deduce he is talking based on his location (Bauchi). I belive majority are Muslims there and he as a "professional" in managing roads, he is probably bewildered why people don't follow simple rules and regulations, seeing some kind of very avoidable accident.
Me a resident of Rivers self sometimes im bewildered why road users behave like animals.

So may be he thinks if they use a law that is closer to the people "and faster in action" is going to help

Ps: I'm not saying the law should be adopted or whatever, he is probably talking from a place of anger and frustration
Nigeria is not an Islamic state

I'll not debate the morality of the death penalty with you. Drugs ruin a lot of lives and is a terrible crime. Regardless, a lot of countries are trying to do away with the death penalty and/or execute offenders in the most humane way possible, not like Arab herders would have done over 1000 years ago.

Non MURIC Yaribawa APC advocates must hear this.
Advocates of Sharia laws,
Including Sharia criminal laws, for all of Nigeria are everywhere in the country

They want to use old and frail Tinubu as front to renew the tenure of Buhari's cabal in Aso Rock.
In 2001, Muhammadu Buhari vowed in Kaduna before a large crowd of Muslims, that he would not stop until Islamic sharia criminal justice system is applied in all the states of Nigeria.

Buhari became president, one of the earliest demands of Alhaji Tanko Mohammed appointed Chief Justice of Nigeria by president Buhari, was for Islamic Sharia criminal justice system be included in Nigeria's Constitution.
Sharia criminal justice system include stoning blasphemers to death; stoning women to death for adultery, cutting out the hands of thieves. Military dictators refused to add Sharia criminal justice system in the constitution because of the obvious chaos it must cause in a Nigeria of plural religious faith all over the country.
But between 1999-2001; political and religious leaders of the 12 far north states urinated on Nigeria's Constitution through adoption of Islamic Sharia criminal justice system. Boko is quickly emerged and says it is fighting for a Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal laws.

We said it that they will turn a religionless state to a religious state. Our predictions of the outcome of muslim- Muslim ticket are becoming a reality. A secular state is to be operating sharia laws that cut hands and legs because of traffic offence, when the hands are taken off what will people use to drive rightly?
There is no need of staying as a Nation with Jihadists who see no good in humanity, no room for correction and forgiveness.
