Lol... Everybody have the right for opinions bro.

They can do their sarcasm all they want, it's their right.

I mean, we're all arsenal fans and we have the righ to be disappointed. How anyone goes about expressing his disappointment is right as long as there's no use of foul words or sort.

Let dem express their feelings, emotions and disappointments in peace boss.
Off course grin

Me I choose to take the positive instead of wallowing in the muds of regret and 'what could have been'.

The title chase was interesting and gave us moments to brag a little. But the team wasn't good enough to grab the chance. We take what we've got. CL next season will have a fresh meaning for me. E don tey.

I hope the team improves with good signings because fans will expect the title to come to Arsenal next season and then there would be no excuses.

I don't get, those opportunity you die there, even if you'll lose the league, not this way..
Even if it means the club splash the money in January TW to strengthen and fkn win that league.
Leceister city has this opportunity some season ago and they won the league but arsenal fans wants us to be happy cause the aim is top4.

The board better splash Money in the TW window cause we’re going to the Champions league, Arteta should also be better tactically in his in-game management next season

They can wallow in the negativity this season as if we're totally bad and claim that we call Arteta "a god that can't be touched". Na dem sabi

Sir, we are overachievers oh!

The agreement was making it back to the UCL in the meeting they attended.

Agreement is agreement oh!
It’s the way they made it look like we overachieved this season, if Man utd eventually make top4 then they had a better season than Us.

Loosing the league this way is very shameful to be sincere

Nobody is wallowing in Negativity bro, the fans are just disappointed with the team not utilizing the opportunity they had this season.

We all want the best for the team.

I absolutely would have been okay with some disgust and anger about how we lost the season but no, they want people like me to be grateful because we overachieved. Losing the league in the fashion we did demands some serious inquiry if we were serious because this is the same way we bottled the UCL last season despite being in control twice. This doesn’t mean we are unhappy to be back in the UCL, it just means there has to be a higher level of accountability and scrutiny..

God bless you bro! They want to box us who think differently as haters or negative people in the club; that is what this thread has devolved into.

You can’t question Arteta here because you would be deemed an enemy and a hater. You can’t question why and how our season got derailed.

Nobody is claiming you don't want the best for the team but the way most of us carry it, one will feel this team have been shit this season and that Arteta have been bad throughout.

I'm not judging this team due to the past 7 matches. I see the progress, I see the upward momentum and today's match won't change that fact.

We need to get it right in signings cos our squad depth is what's the issue to compete for league with Man city.

Not everyone is cool with mediocrity, the painful thing is we are always in control of how our season will eventually end but we always end up bottling it, so I understand your anger but saving we overachieved this season is crap.

Nevertheless, I’m impressed with the boys this season even though it didn’t go as envisaged, Arteta should just improve in his squad management and in-game management.

Sir, we are going to finish second and the EPL will hand us a medal for finishing 2nd, I can promise you. Also, we are also returning to the UCL. “We have absolutely no desire to win the league, we are overachieving right now.”
I love ur consolation.

I don’t think you’re getting the point.
No arsenal fan will say they’re not impressed with the boys but loosing the league in such manner and claiming we overachieved is devastating.

This season, I’m always looking forward to when the boys will play every weekend cause of the joy I get when watching them but not grabbing an opportunity when it presents itself is the only thing that got Me angry with the team.

I just hope they get it right with the players they’ll be getting next season

Exactly, loosing all the competitions to focus on the premier league and still bottling it. We really need to go into next season with more quality squad since we’ll be featuring in the Champions League

There is a reason I never go against @iamoyindamola whenever he takes shots at Wenger and Henry, primarily because of their failure to win it all in the UCL when we had the chance.

Despite Henry and Wenger being my 2 favorite Arsenal personalities, I absolutely understand his position and never take it personal against him when we debate that topic because he has every right to be upset and still wish we won the UCL when we had the chance because guess what? Since that time, the club has not had another opportunity and are far away from a finals appearance.

Why should we just sweep this season like we did not just miss an opportunity to be champions? When you look at how we lost the top 4 last season and see how we lost the league this season, is it wrong to ask critical questions? The idea of being overachievers is closely linked to the mediocre mentality that disgusts me.

Baba, you are making me laugh serious! Arteta is the 2nd coming of God, especially on this thread, he can’t be criticized, worth more fired.

Again, the last time I checked, the league was never the agreement and goal for this season, so why should any board fire him?

We never bottled the league, consequently, there is no need crying over another distasteful performance since we are going to the UCL next season. Martinelli hobbled out injured, this could have been prevented by playing a fringe player.
I’m not saying he must win the league.
I’m telling you what such move will mean to his employers.
Let’s assume he played the youth and lost today to Brighton what do you think the media would say.

I remember a couple of seasons ago when he dropped to bottom three and we all wanted him sacked. Now he has finished second we still want him sacked. They call it mediocrity to say we improved this season as if we didn't.

I am quite emotional myself but I also try to take things into perspective. No commentator can say that Arsenal and Arteta didn't try this season.

Take this mediocre bull crap far from me. Me and you have been fans of this club for decades on this thread. If e dey pain you then stop hiding behind the contentment of coming 2nd and being mediocre!

Tasting the UCL is the reason we were beaten blue and black in the Europa, bounced from FA and the League after being one of the highest spenders going into the season.

Lol.

Ok. We have finished second.

So what are you going to do about it since you aren't mediocre like me?

Their performance today showed they aren't as good as we thought. They were clearly beaten today in their home ground. I can't see a City side, no matter how poor they play crumble this low.

And I’d celebrate!
So if you were asked to analyse this season, will you start from the 2-2 draw against Liverpool or the or the loss to Man City?

We will finish with at least 81points. That's already among the top 5 in the top European leagues this season. Napoli won the serie A with 82points and games to spare. PSG in French league with Messi, Mbappe and Neymar don't have that much points.

We are just unfortunate to go head to head and toe to toe with a side like Man City. I cannot kill the boys for not winning the league. All I can ask for is improvements going into next season.
