purity2all:Transcorp opened on day's high of 2.84 before pulling back down to 2.45.....then started climbing again......to close with 10% @2.84. If you placed your trade during pre-market, then it means your order was filled earlier before pullback....... Anyway, it still closed higher, so nothing spoilt. 1 Like |

Ajibade123:- All shares purchased are domiciled with CSCS - Before you can trade your holdings, it has to be moved to the trading acct opened with a broker. That's your trading portfolio. -**These books have been mentioned times without number here. Try surf thru Pa emmanuelewumi's posts or search for @infinitisi page and check..... Ajibade123:In less than a week, a new acct should be ready. - Utility bill is necessary to confirm the address filled in your form , that you actually reside there. It could be Electrity bill, DSTV, Lawma/envmt bill or a page of your bank statement showing address. * Required docs aren't much: Passport, Means of ID, Utility bill, share transfer form and filled acct opening form. 1 Like |

Agbalowomeri: They must have other objectives for acquiring these assets apart from immediate profit. On the bright side it can facilitate correspondence operations and international transaction ops. How beneficial this I don't know. On the dark side, it should facilitate laundering ops I guess. Sadly, some big international businesses have their dark sides. 2 Likes |

Agbalowomeri: Says the guy who spends most of his time on NSEMPA threads dropping one-liners. So, according to you, Access Bank just woke up one day and decided to invest millions of dollars in a project to catch clout? I bet you didn't read where Access Bank clearly mentioned that this was some form of solution for some Francophone African countries where it is currently present. 2 Likes |

Backpedal: Lolllllllll I know someone here that has more than that in zenith bought at 9-10 still traded with it and made MAD money more than those holding. Another guy here sold at 26/27 still bought lower and also qualify for dividend. If I had sold my UBA then at 8.90 then buy back at 7.85 would have given me additional units of around 300k and will still qualify for dividend. Anyway, trading and holding the most important thing is to make money but one will make than the other 1 Like |

yMcy56:Some people just expect prices to continue hovering around the same range for eternity. If you check Zenith and GTB, you'll notice that prices are still around 2018 range. And some people expect this to continue in 2023, and for how long? There will come a time when these prices will correct for inflation and naira devaluation. Perhaps 2023 s the year. aremso:Is this how traders think and make so much money. I sell uba at 8.90 and buy back 7.85. So I will waste my time chasing 1.05..Oga nse to many na side hustle at this age. Each time is see the price of nem I sold for #1.00 after keeping it for years when nosa was championing iit in smn .That made me to see trading as waste of time if you buy fundamental sound stock. I had nem in great afolabi unit then. Then you pray buhari/apc government to never happen as you hold the shares, lol 2 Likes |

Yoast: Prices also need to correct for improvement in the underlying assets. BVPS and EPS have been growing while prices have not trended in the same direction in the last five years thereby increasing the VPD. (@onegentleguy, I hope I used VPD correctly ) 1 Like |

aremso:It's always easier said than done. How on earth would you conclude that the upward movement would stop at 8.90 and that the down ward would reverse from 7.85. My brother the best approach is oracle's strategy. Buy dividend stocks and hold for as many years as possible, till whenever foreign portfolios visit the market and trigger those 10-10 percent big bulls. That's when to sell and wait for another market crash 9 Likes |

2023H2 may be good for the NSE with these kind of headlines. Has volumes increased compared to similar periods in prior years?. Only a quick check can confirm this.
