I had the same issue. This is what I did. go to pdffiller dot com, register for their 30 days basic package free trial with dollar virtual card, search for the form name you want to fill, eg imm1294...... fill and download. If you don't register, you will only be able to fill any form, but impossible do download. Cheers 2 Likes 1 Share |

Thank you so much for your assistance. I really appreciate it. I'm applying alone. Do you think I use the old or new portal? From your experience. Thanks once again. pristinee: |

Or how am I going to do this, since I'm filling it online. Let me ask your opinion on this too. Please I'm applying alone, do you suggest I use the old or new portal? Thank you in advance. 1 Like |

Willie3040: I downloaded the forms, filled and uploaded after validating them. Some ppl have used either the old or new portal and have been successful with their permits. If you have bulky stuffs to upload then use the old portal. 3 Likes |

Thank you Zubizareta, Ok. I will use your approach then. I have about 40 documents to submit. Will you consider that to be bulky? Thanks bro. zubizareta: 1 Like |

Willie3040: Think that should be considered as being bulky. |

Willie3040:No. Just ensure you compress them and they're clear enough for the human eyes |

Willie3040: You are welcome, I just figured out the new portal this week, asked on here, no response from anyone, LOL ............. I am currently in same stage as you though, about to submit my application. Based on testimonials I have seen here, I will settle for the new portal. |

If you are using Adobe Acrobat....it has a compressor option that does a good job. Willie3040: 1 Like |

Please I received a don't reply mail on Friday, I was expecting a positive result honestly, to my greatest surprise I downloaded the corresponding letter, with a summary of a generic response saying I have been given a 5 years ban previously, this was a shock to me because I was never sent the normal procedural fairness letter, please I really don't understand what to do, my sponsor is my brother and MPOWER loan, I have also ordered for my CBSA note immediately, please what must have been the issue please, attached is the letter..... and I never used a fraudulent document or bank statement, I even sent the usual my bank statement which contains a password, although my sponsor bank statement he gave me was the printed copy, please what must have been the problem? Pardon my English, please

oluwjuwonlo: Sorry to hear this. I think the explanation is clear. You were banned for 5 years from ur previous appication. So automatically in the eyes of ircc you are inadmissable( not qualified) to enter canada. So technically like in a football match, you were suspended. Hence u shuldnt have tried to apply until the 5 year ban has elapsed. What you would have done if you have the financial muscle was to appeal you last refusal with an immigration lawyer that knows Canada immigration laws, assuming you are sure none of your documents was falsified. Truly sorry. |

oluwjuwonlo: Have you ever applied for Canadian visa before? Either yourself or using an agent |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by oluwjuwonlo: 1:23am On May 16, 2023 |
Thank you for the response, in my last application there was nothing like a visa ban in the reason they gave, I even apply for my gcms note then absolutely nothing like a visa ban in the reason stated, I can even post my last application refusal reason, I am surprised with the prior refusal statement, someone even said maybe my sponsor one of them may have been ban before, so, as a result, they refused me due to that reason, am still surprised, attached is my last refusal reason, there was nothing like procedural fairness letter which is the norm that proceed a ban

oluwjuwonlo:This is really sad. Probably the workload on the VOs to attend to many applications is causing them to make drastic mistakes. |

pristinee:You can read up on the 2 portals as well as watch YouTube videos in order to make your decision, you mustn't wait for people here to choose for you. Personally I think the new portal is pretty straight forward especially for solo applicants 1 Like |

Download this for to a folder Right click on it Scroll up to Open with Select Adobe. It will open. You're getting this error because you're double clicking on the form and trying to open it on your browser. Willie3040: 1 Like |

Hi guys. My sister got study permit PPR a few days ago. She plans to travel in September and will be married in a few weeks. She’ll like her husband to come along with her or join her as soon as possible. Is it recommended to apply for SOWP for him before she travels? How strict is the requirement to add study permit and proof of enrolment to the SOWP application? I’ll like to know if anyone has done something similar and how it turned out. Thanks |
