There is a precedent. The Supreme Court recounted votes cast during an election to make Hope Uzodinma become governor of Imo state.

How can Datti-Baba Ahmed be saying he believes in democracy? He doesn't have an iota of progressive mind that people take as democrats. He should go and sit down and not meddle in our democratic values. Nigeria dodged strong bullets by not having his such winning elections. He is not a leader per excellence, a sure leader is not someone that does not think before utterances, coming to national television and saying a democratically elected someone should not be sworn-in as President is a sign of a pessimist which Prof. Wole Soyinka calls narcissisms. Saying PMB and CJN should not swear-in a certified President-elect, too bad of such utterance coming from someone that should be in the know.
