Good day ladies and gentlemen. This should be a buying season. Though members have not been making much publicity about what they have been buying. Another geregu is probably loading. I thought it was name of a masquerade until friends started uploading their 200% profit.
I always miss portunities because I'm not always available in the market. A very bad habbit that has cost me millions over the years. Whose business.
I bought UBA at #8.10 because of the juicy dividend it paid me. Then, Okomu Oil.
I have been monitoring ucap for months only to miss it when it left off with a long gap.
But i wonder why no one is talking about Afriprud at it's present price, eventhough it appears to be adopting a new culture of stagnation, but then, we used to patronise it because of it's sumptuous dividends.
Congratulations to those who were lucky to be in Transcorps bus. Many of us are regular customers of this famous bus, but not all were lucky to be in the bus this time.
Afriprud? The gurus.
I disagree with those who said this is not a buying season, though non can be categorical about time and season.
I think the investing public is becoming more optimistic that there is going to be a a peaceful transition process that would in turn usher in an era of political stability and economic hope in Jagabanism.

They look like an unserious registrar. I have GTB shares bought from Morgan for which I have been receiving my dividends, now I have some more shares from Stanbic Brokers and it looks like they did not update their system and only paid dividends for only the old stock.

I do not know if one is supposed to be filling mandate form for each stock brokering house.

Funny enough, some folks have also asked me the same question, but the truth is that @currentprice and I have got no scores to settle.
He might be acting with the hope of "drawing up" a thing or 2 from me, sometimes deploying crafty and frenzied means, but nothing more to it I think. wink cheesy grin

In any case, I have since told him that fundamental analysis has gone beyond the traditional ways of making permutations when it comes to digging for VALUE!

The popular valuation approaches like PBC, ID, DCF, PV (owners ear****, VDS), CB and RS methods etc... or even a combination of any one of them can sometimes not be enough to probe the potential VALUE in a company.
...especially when as an investor, you desire to thoroughly investigate a coys fundamental stance by looking out for the good in what may be "perceived" as a bad financial print.

In the past, many folks have also questioned the veracity of some of our guidance, but which have often turned out to be a success in no less than 80% occasion.
We aren't perfect so we have also failed in some like CAVERTON, but the good thing is; we have recorded btw 80-86% success rate.

Many didn't see the inherent potential in the likes of WAPCO @ N9, NEIMETH @ 38k, WEMA BANK @ 56k, UACN @ N4.5, PZ @ N4, NAHCO @ N3+, DS @ N11+, GUINNESS @ N15, UNILEVER @ N10+, TRANSCORP @ <90k, CHAMS @ 20k etc... when in a similar fashion they'd rather avoid it like did @currentprice. (I recall he also doubted us on some of these coys)
I once told a story of how I bought into FIDSON @ N1+ following due diligence, at a time when many would've considered it an investment blunder.

There's no gainsaying that @currentprice is doing well. He's guidance on VITAFOAM was a masterstroke at the time.
...but he needs to do more!
As I told him when he discovered the potential in CHAMS @ 32k after an over 50% return (a coy we repeatedly highlighted @ 20k and could've also gotten more for less), he couldn't have seen the inherent value @ 20k because the Nos he'd expect to see "at the surface" to aide his analysis would either be hidden or not there.

He also wouldn't have seen any value in NAHCO @ N3+ and DS @ N11+. ...which were the prices we paid for them. (On NAHCO, he only did see it after prices rose by over 105%)
He did not see the inherent value in STERLING BANK @ N1.40+ (price already near N1.80 now), and he probably won't see any in the likes of GSK, INTERBREW and LIVESTOCK FEEDS.
But I know he will in the course of time. ...only problem is that their prices might have doubled by then. wink cheesy cool

My valuation models are the result of long years of broad extrapolations and estimates using tested tools but reshaping and refining them to suite different peculiar circumstances, and oftentimes blending probable top-down impact on the target sector/asset before drawing up conclusion.
...they aren't perfect but have proven to have a high level of efficacy.
That's why we manage people's fund/assets, investment portfolios and a bit more.

Before I put out something here, a lot of work has been done at the background with plenty of checks and balances.
But because I sometimes give them out for gratis, some persons may not appreciate the effort we put in.
When I do something though, I do it for the sake of Devine and of goodness. I do not expect anything in return.

People can argue/debate over our guidance, but TIME will ALWAYS set matters straight and put things in their right perspective.
...then folks like @currentprice will begin to see the light!
Am not a senile fellow but it's a case of an old man, a tree, and a child.

It is well

If after at least a year of following this thread, you still wait for crumbs of what to buy or sell from the ever-willing contributors on this forum without knowing how to pick your stocks on your own or deciding when to sell, you are simply lazy.

A year is sufficient to study less than 150 stocks on NSE and create YOUR own system/style of trade. The ability to carry out independent research and make your own decisions will forever set you free.

Nuances apart, you don't need insider information to make money. Study and practice are sufficient.

What is the name of this forum? Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts Forum.
I'm trying to educate you because it seems you are intelligent by half.
This is a place where investment like-minded people rob minds in order to improve their investment profile.
Anyone who believes he is perfect needs not to be here as he would just trade and made gratuitous returns from the corner of his room.
Asking you advice about what to buy doesn't mean I'm not buying, but out of wisdom, i was asking because this forum has proved to be rich in financial gurud and experts whose advice i could tely upon.
I believe that someone like me, eventhough i am an experienced administrator with no mean order, should not come here to give stock investment advice because it is not my field.
So Mr. man, who always no what to invest in, who needs not to be in this forum and who also doesn't want to share his knowledge with orders should kindly mind his business and allow the amateur Toluway to seek for investment advice.
Thank you. (No time to edit this post please)
